How do you understand and use "take and press"? Pressing only the number that hits or pressing any of your numbers?
I am currently wargaming a regression that sets up $66 inside, it then calls for "take and press". I look forward to other shooter's input!

My Best Win just occurred! Xmas Eve had $50 in match play that was ready to expire. Dropped into Hollywood Charlestown.
One other regular shooter positioned at the inside hook. Bought in for $500.
Dropped $25 with $25 Match play on the PL. $10 World. Toss 11. And we were off to the races. Crossed 6 ...

My first efforts were PL and 1x odds, until I learned that not everyone were able to even hit a point much less get the dice to the backwall.
Now when I shoot, PL and 2x odds, then tiptoe in for the other inside numbers.

What a difference a week makes and the suggestions and comments from this forum!

Today went back to Charlestown, $500 buy.
Got the dice twice- 2 hands of 20- first hand was all over the place, very few repeaters.
Second hand settled down- hammered the 6/8 and rolled with $400

Over the last month, at the casino, I have averaged hands of 24, the longest was Friday morning at Charlestown.

$18-6 and 8, 1st hit drop $3, Press 6 and 8 to $30, 2nd hit Drop $1, Press 6/8 to $48, 3rd hit $56 win, take everything down.
At the most, I only ever have $40 in action.

Another great session with 6/8 Progression at Charlestown, WV.
The crew even commented on how great of a play this was.
$500 buy in and $845 Color... about 90 mins.

I used this progression last night at Hollywood Charlestown, and was up $112 in 22 mins! The shooter was a friend of mine, tossed a hand of 22, before the stick change, 7-out.

The first time I walked up to a craps table was on a cruise ship, $300 buy in and it was gone in 30 mins, but the guy next to me had doubled his money, and then ask "what's wrong with this picture?".
When I got home, I started studying everything that I could to learn how to play.

For the longest time within my life, I believe that success leaves clues! And in finding this website and all of the postings have been a large part of the learning process and despite the nerves, I was able to step up my play to a new level.

After 4 weeks of war gaming MP's $204 Regression at home, I decided to play it at the tables.
A new friend, Coaster from FLA was visiting with friends and gave me a call and we met at Hollywood in Charlestown, Friday morning 830am.
Table had 2 other shooters when we bought in, not sure what Coaster ...

Horseshoe: Tables were $15 when I walked in about 3pm, they changed over to $25 at 4pm.

The place is really nice, parking is great, security real good. prices are good. Staff very upbeat and friendly.

They do not have hotel, but there are a couple within walking distance. And you are walking ...

Saw the same thing Saturday at the Horseshoe in Baltimore! The Pit boss pointed it out. I was winning on the shooter, just wish I knew about this!
