Re: ON LINE GAMBLE-

I've been online gambling for 20 years now, but on sports. Rarely touch the casinos but may dabble a bit every now and then usually to pretend to the operation I am a potential degenerate so they may let me bet on sports a bit longer before restricting my action. Payment back to your account seems f...

Re: The All, Small or Tall Bet

You are correct RR. Almost everybody, and that includes most on here is going to be well down on ATS and centre type bets. Nobody is beating the huge house edges on these bets long term that bets them frequently. Masses of confirmation bias exists about remembering the great wins, not the times you ...

Re: Bigger DC after small CO PL is a nice hedge

If you need to hedge your DP with a $7 yo, then your DP is too big. You are playing one of the best bets on the table and then adding a side dish of one of the worst.

Re: Use to have a Clue - but lost it!

Hi Dave. Well we don't know each other but welcome back. Interesting to hear of your background in Darts over Europe. Was that just a hobby or did you ever get into playing any of the pro tournaments? As an aside, a boxman at the Hard Rock Biloxi was telling me he is a very high standard darts player.

1. It's the daddy of all casino games. What the fuck else was I playing between 1988 and 2013? 2. The first time you play you will win, you will probably win big and you will become hooked. 3. Not all bets on the felt are created equal. 4. The game is a grumpy old man magnet. 5. You can lose your ar...

Re: Roulette - Heavy's Sit-Down Game of Choice

Yeah, the thing is online especially, you aren't supposed to be winning long term. Have fun by all means, but don't waste you time trying to beat a random negative expectation game over thousands of spins - it simply isn't happening.

Re: The All, Small or Tall Bet

1 out of 5 times over how many hands? That's an incredible advantage though we would also need to know how many come out 7s you are re-setting on and also whether you are on the old pay table or the new shitty pay table?

Re: Roulette - Heavy's Sit-Down Game of Choice

Sharkbyte - I often pay double streets as part of my strategy on roulette. It may amuse you to hear I once found a dealer in Laughlin who was paying double on each hit - 12 units instead of 6, right under the nose of the boss who was too busy talking to my other half with great interest about the Ro...

Re: Casino War

Wizard of Odds shows tie bet on 6 decks has house edge of 18.64% There's no way you are getting such a big advantage over a bet that start so far into negative territory it's unreal.

Given this are you in effect saying the house edge on the above game can be set to above the standard 5.5x% that you see on a standard 00 wheel?

Re: Strategy of boxcars

fishinggodess - I do like to used crossed 6s a lot when shooting from straight out. Seems a very forgiving set for me at times. I'll admit I often put down a field bet on the come out (providing 12 pays triple) when using that set more as a "bit of fun" than anything. Quite a few on here a...

Re: Strategy of boxcars

If you are using crossed 6s and producing horn numbers through control then switch your set and start producing box numbers. You are going to win a lot more that way in the long run than p*ssing around with silly bets with double figure edges.

Re: Strategy of boxcars

Assuming you are not on the wind-up :) hegding = more money on the table = more house edge you are giving up to the casino. Often hedges are stupid high edge bets e.g. "any craps". Take a step back, and in this example, if you are so scared of your PL bet that you are having to hedge with ...

Re: Is 330 inside too much risk?

You'll know in your stomach if 330 across is too much for you. Gut feel when it comes to gambling over staking is the best sign there is that you are in too deep. Scout makes an excellent point - bankroll and the mental game - what do you do after three PSOs? 330 all of a sudden becomes 44 inside an...

Yes, constantly playing cat and mouse of here. Show any signs of knowing what you are doing and they will cut you off. You don't even need to be winning - just making the right kind of selections at the right kind of prices. Lost count of how many friends, realtives and so on's accounts we have gone...

I attack in two ways: 1. If playing on the floor then absolutely the best pay table for my stake level eg 9/6 JOB upstairs at IP or the double bank of games at same 25c level in the Cromwell. 2. If at the bar then increasingly just "suck it up" and accept extra vig as tax on much better dr...

Re: field bets

My advice is don't bother if the field only pays double on the 12. Triple on the 12 and you can have some fun especially if an extreme number hits to give you a bonus. Net result of a martingale is always the same though: you lose all your money, lose your bottle or hit the table limit. There is abs...
