Re: Rolls for testing a betting system.

SRR-rate alone only indicates if influence is present; it doesn't indicate where the actual influence is sourced from. Your reseeding test is interesting if all roll-data was collected using the same dice-set (ie, you didn't mix apples and antelopes by using one Horn-centric 7-heavy come-out set vs...

Re: Rolls for testing a betting system.

I'm probably reading H's comments wrong here, so I'm looking for confirmation.

Are you saying that with an SRR-rate in the mid-7's; no pre-set betting-method will beat it?

"Of all the gin-joints in all the world..."

Dave, it is genuinely great to see you back here. I missed you, we all missed you, and the dice-influencing community certainly missed you too.

Welcome back!

Re: I have an unlimited bankroll

Hi Roller, The quick answer is: it depends . The fuller answer, as others have mentioned, is that it all depends on the win-tolerance of each casino , and in many cases, the win-tolerance of each shift , or even each crew . If you are looking for extremely high win-tolerances, Las Vegas might not b...

Re: You're Tossing a Hot Hand - How do you Bet it?

Let me throw the Mad Professor’s $204-Across equal-payout Regression w/Passive-Aggressive Pressing into the pool of possibilities. It is designed for betting on skilled-shooters , where you personally don't know ahead of time what their specific Right-side best-numbers strengths are; but I would th...

Re: 3+Capping w/JP's "Ricochet System" & MP's ..Testing...#'

Here's a link to that " Testing, testing, testing " thread over on the Dice Institute's message-board . As you will see if you read through it, the initial testing concept has expanded to include several different methods (and as far as I know, none of them contemplate any 8,000-to-1 regre...

Re: Lump of Progressions

Hi Americraps,

There's a couple of guys who play that same method at Ceasar's Windsor. They also switch their No-4 and No-10 bets to No-2 and No-12 bets on C-W's Crapless Craps table (which triples their cash-outlay to achieve the same hedge).

Re: A Don't Pass Survival Kit

I often wonder whatever happened to Professor H. He was a prolific poster over on H's WrongWay board, and then he slowly faded away.

I'm wondering if health or betting-method had anything to do with it. I'm hoping for neither.

Re: Superstitions/Signs on a Table

With more people playing at more open tables; there's a higher likelihood of a 'hot' hand occurring.
