Re: Moving the Don't Come

If a DC travels or a DP gets a point established , half the battle is won . Picking up a DP or not letting a DC travel is as stupid as a rightside player , playing a doey-dont. I'd say 60% of the battle is won :) Where is the "like" button on this forum!!! Oh Yea once you get the number s...

Re: Moving the Don't Come

The guy doesn't know what he is doing. As soon as the DC moves to the number the odds are in his favor no matter what the number is. If it is 4-10 the odds are 2-1 in his favor for a win, 5-9 the odds are 3-2 and 6-8 the odds are 6-5 in his favor. So I would never move a traveled DC bet back to the ...

Re: Tight systems

Hi Operator, I don't know a "cowboy" move is, but hopefully this is not one of them. I have been playing this on other DI shooters lately with some good success, it is a good way to start out slow and see where people are going with their roll. Bypass the come out roll and place $12 6&...

Re: Baccarat

hey there Bones. Yes it was a good time and we actually did a lot better at the craps tables than the baccarat tables. Why don't you tell the story about the 30 minute wait for players to call their family members to all bring $10,000 to the table to bet on banker?

Re: OK if the don't better cheers his 7-out wins?

I have been playing a lot of don't pass recently and I try not to cheer on a 7-out. I try to recruit other players to the dark side if I am winning. A lot of times I explain my theory, "If I can find a spot at the table (in AC or Ctown, WVA), then the table probably isn't hot. So I will play th...

Re: WinCraps Pro

Wudged, I use Windows 7 on my computer. It works fairly well, but tends to crash about 30-40% of the time for me. Most of the time in the middle of a large run of roll files. I still prefer to use it even if it is for only a few roll files, because of the nature of how I test, I want to test as many...

Re: WinCraps Pro

Well Steen and all, if any of you know me, then you know that I am BIG fan of WinCraps and have literally hundreds of betting methods on my computer. It was the best $20 I ever spent on any PC software in my life. It has saved me thousands of dollars at the casino making stupid bets. Welcome to the ...

Re: Crapless craps

Thanks for doing the math Wudged. That supports what I have seen at the crapless tables, the hands seem to be shorter to me. My reasoning was that you shorten the come out cycle down to either 7 or any other number, so you don't see too many come out cycles that last past 3 rolls, maybe 2 seven's in...

Re: Looking to Cowtip...

DF, I made a big $21 yesterday playing the Cowtip method, if I had not extended it past 8 bets, I would have busted out, but made that 9th bet of $60 and won and parlayed to $120 and won again. Both bets were on the same shooter a come out 2 and then a 7-out on the point of 10. total bets won = 11 t...

Re: Looking to Cowtip...

A certain DI player that I know chatted last night that they won $175 using the Cowtip the other day. Max bet was $35. DylanFreake, I have expanded the Cowtip to 14 bets rather than the 8 (or was it 9) on your original plan. In the computer lab, that works out better with less bust outs. It puts the...

Re: Looking to Cowtip...

Hey DF, another question. So how often to you quit a session when you are in the middle of doing the cowtip, or do you always end a session after your cowtip has finally won 2 in a row? As I am running the strategy through some random rolls, my rolls that I previously created sometimes end in the mi...

Re: Looking to Cowtip...

DylanFreake, I wouldn't change a thing that you are doing. It has gotten you this far hasn't it? On the computer the lay bets don't do as well as the don't pass bets. I have some methods in WC that lay the point, you would think that they would do better than the don't pass, but they don't over the ...

Re: Looking to Cowtip...

I ran the Cowtip through the 40 random roll sessions I created previously and posted the individual session results over on the Dice Institute web site here: http://diceinstitute.maxforum.org/2013/01/09/using-wincraps-to-test-and-validate-unconventional/page2/#post38 Here is my summary of the 2013 v...

Re: Looking to Cowtip...

The way I play is not exciting at all. You didn't have to tell me that DF!! Having played a version of the Cowtip with a $1 increase method quite a few times I know that after that 1st loss on a shooter, it can be a LONG time until you make a bet again. I don't have as much discipline as you do, I ...

Re: Looking to Cowtip...

hey bobthtree, I think I have figured out the newest version of the Cowtip strategy in Wincraps. I will have to test it out a few more times, but it finally looks solid. I did find some logic errors in my old script where I only increased the bets by $1, I wasn't going for 2 wins in a row in the old...

Re: Looking to Cowtip...

Glad that they could take the country boy out of country, but couldn't take the country out of the country boy, DylanFreake! I might live in the big city now near Wash DC, but I was born in NC and that is the South the last time I checked. Not as far south as Arkansas or Mississippi, but I still con...

Re: Looking to Cowtip...

Thanks for the explanation Dylanfreake! I guess I made my own version of the Cowtip with only increasing the bets $1 at a time. I must have picked that up from some one else, but the strategy is similar. Some questions for you: I thought that you would only do the parlay when someone rolls a 2 or 3 ...

Re: Looking to Cowtip...

Hey bobthetree, this is the way I have always played it. $10 bet on don't pass, Up $1 as you lose, down $1 as you win. Only allow for 1 loss bet per shooter. If you win the come out miss, then you parlay that bet. So 10 becomes 20 or let say you were at 13, that becomes 26. Lose that bet then the ne...
