Re: field bets

22inside, Funny this is I agree with you, but I found that having a structure forced me to focus, and reinforced my discpline, which has always been my biggest problem. I found the same thing when I was buying in on a short buy-in with goal of only shooting one hand, sticking to my plan in betting o...

Re: field bets

I merged it with the bucket bet (31-36, center dz , 1-6) on a roulette slot, it worked good for about two or three months, then went south, and I got stupid chasing my losses. with the 31-36, 1-6 paying 5:1, an the dz doing a push, it could take a while. Only got to the 8 level a few time, quitting ...

Re: 147th Kentucky Derby

if your into breeding check his pedigree. Still he never raced as a 2yo (one of five in that) and his last race was on AW, but when you look at the race...if he fires, should be good. I am not going to make the mistake I made in 19, I have done it five times this year, picked an longshot to come in ...

147th Kentucky Derby

Given that the winner since the points system was created has been the chalk, boxing Essential Quality, Rock your world, Known agenda and Highly Motivated in both the exacta and trifecta would not be a bad starting play. Then using those four with selected longshots (no more than 3) to play around, ...

Re: practice for boomtown new orleans trip strategy

wow, all of the above are why I think of what I do as separate events, the change in my focus. but why do I think I shoot better when I not thinking about anything? i started using 18 pairs of dice last season. makes tracking a breeze. all i worry about is am I better or worse than random.

Re: practice for boomtown new orleans trip strategy

Feeling it? LOL, I know that feeling, but I swear it seems like when I don't trust it, it works, and when I do ,it fails. I think i need to learn how to say the most power full words in craps when the idea of the seven enters my brain, "Turn every thing off", then go to the second phase of...

Re: practice for boomtown new orleans trip strategy

olddogcrapper, are you going across? I have been wargaming that, seems to work, at home.. DarthNater, I was tossing to track, not training, not practicing, just tracking. Then read about how heavy was doing it, started breaking out the tracking sessions. What I found by doing that was that some days...

Re: practice for boomtown new orleans trip strategy

It was reading about Heavy's practice routine that got me off the marathon tracking sessions, hell that was over ten years ago, 08 i think. It was funny reading about the same thing in a book printed two years after that. Gave me the idea of training, practice hands, and tracking as three separate ...

Re: practice for boomtown new orleans trip strategy

I get a lot of off-axis hard eights and tens with the crossed sixes and always bet them with that set. Good luck. Be sure to post a trip report. Seems Iv'e been hitting the same thing ! Saw you and Vader on youtube interview. What you said about practice is so true. I've been actually over doing it...

I had her in second, damn bob, when I bet against him, I lose, when I bet on him, I lose. Or at least that is the way it seems. You right about Jesus' Team, No where on my radar, now its on to the Breeders Cup

Re: Preakness 145

Me either, waiting for the tote to pop up. Looking at the breeders Futurity at Keeneland too. The two year old Races are a crap shoot, but normally one of the 10 pts pops a good long shot. WOW win pool is under 4 mil , don't know if the handle will cover the light bill lol

Re: Preakness 145

I do better with the Exacta in the Preakness. This year, going with Max Player, Thousand Words, and Pneumatic over Authentic exacta, then Authentic over the same three in the tri. Just not feeling it for this race though, have done very little home work. This one is going to be under 20. Tell the tr...

One of the issues with BoneTracker I'd like to see addressed in some future version
How about a combo, win craps and BT in one package, if Cloudcity could get maddog to take some money.
