Re: The Full Moon
Big O: Question, were you within the eclipse or was in just over the U.S. someplace. The last one went over Missouri but we just saw a partial. Inquiring minds and all that. So did just a partial affect you?

Re: betting strategy to maximize table time and preserve bankroll?
Guess I'll add my opinion. The OH-CM is good on a choppy table or hot table, but a cold table will skin you. If I were not wanting to make a killing on the table, I would flat bet the DP, minimum bet, then increase the flat bet as I won. Second way would be to start with double the minimum and decre...

Re: Choppy tables. What’s your trick to beat it?
I've recently have been gettiing good results with a combination of OHCM and dodging bullets Strategies. So far so good, however it is still too early....the jury is still out. BD: You are sort of on my way, I haven't ever posted because I do not play enough now a days to give it a full run of seve...

Re: Choppy tables. What’s your trick to beat it?
Stats from Dodging Bullets Ø The dice are “red hot” about 4% of the time. Ø The dice are “ice cold” about 6% of the time. Ø The table “trends warm” about 20% of the time. Ø The table “trends cool” about 30% of the time. Ø The tables are “CHOPPY” about 40% of the time. There is a 40% chance that a pl...

Re: Choppy tables. What’s your trick to beat it?
Dan: I'll start it off so I can get hammered - uh, by the board - but there are several ways to attack the chop. Going dark. MP has a decent way to play the dark on a Choppy table. Adjust this to your playing amounts. 11) Living on The Darkside This is a whole section on the dark. Since you have com...

Re: First Dark side play short Trip Report
DF: That was the point: ON a seven out, dealer wins how much on a dollar piggy back? IF a dollar, he is overpaid by 50%. I suspect he wins nothing, just gets to put it in the toke box. Heavy: You are correct. Most dark side players seldom tip. I generally give away my whites unless one of the dealer...

Re: First Dark side play short Trip Report
BD/DF: Wow. Something I had never thought about:
IF you make a piggyback wager for the dealer on the dark ($1), say 10 is the point: What are they paid? Since the dark pays less than the do, how is that worked out for the dealers. I have just always given them a hand-in.

Re: Abandoned Slot Credits
I am sure the casino considers the tickets and lost chips theirs because it is on their property. Sort of like treasure hunting on someone's property. Gotta get permission (and a signed contract). I have no qualms either way, finder's keepers or it ain't your dough. But casinos are notorious for the...

Most of the time I am a low roller but there are times when I am subject to make larger bet or go on tilt. It is easier to control now than it use to be. Gotta keep between the ditches.

Re: Place Betting the Six and EIGHT
My .02 cents. Practice the bets on your rig. Practice a set, possibly V-2 or V-3 that could be beneficial, and make a decision to press in pairs or the horse that is winning. Gotta have a game plan. I believe this could work with a DI tossing, otherwise, ya never know.

Re: Where's the Dark Side Love ??
Several years ago, I watched a high roller playing the dark. He would play both the DP/DC and they traveled to the 4 or 10 he would lay max odds. If they traveled to the 5/9/6/8 he would do nothing. I had to think on this after I got home as to Why he was not just laying the 4/10 instead of the D/C:...

Re: dont pass-worth it or not?
It's their job, believe me, I have seen dealers so fast it looked like magic. What bother dealers are the odd bets, like a $8 six and eight. They have to pay out $7 bucks on the $6 portion and $2 on the $2 portion (and the bettor says, "$1 for $10!!) Drives them nuts. Only the new break-in deal...

Re: dont pass-worth it or not?
Lordy DF, the world will end for sure. You are absolutely the best barometer of how to win at craps long term. We eagerly await a TR on this new adventure. If this works as well or better than your current playing, then what? Do you have to rethink the last 10 years on a wooda coouda, maybe, what? J...

Place the 8 & 6. First hit, bring both down. Next shooter, Place the 6 & 8 with the one that hit with a press. Same thing again and again.
Ya never know.

Re: Don’t Pass with hardway hedge
My thinking is that a hedge on a HW would weaken an already strong bet. 2 or 4:1 against you with the addition of forking over the bet.

Re: How do you Profit from Short Hands?
On your 8/15 post, you mentioned DP, one loss per shooter. So, you agree with the above since even making one point (naturals don't count), you have a 60/40 advantage. But if you waited until the shooter made one point and then jumped in, your odds go up to 84/16. With a short bank roll, statistical...

Re: How do you Profit from Short Hands?
MS & Irish: You have no argument from me as I am not a math guy. Although your info seems to be anecdotal. Now, from the Wiz of Odds: Once a shooter has hit a point 1 or more times he IS already above average. 40.6% of all shooters hit 1 or more points. 16.1% of all shooters hit 2 or more points...

Re: How do you Profit from Short Hands?
Ms: You are correct if he makes a pass on the first hand then here comes the naturals. Like everything, there is always a downside in this game but I will take my chances. Following a pass, two naturals will hurt you. On the other hand, this works well on a choppy or cold table. Then, you have this:...
