Re: $540 across, 2 hits and down... does my math make sense?
Here's the 1 problem I see with it. Your doing a massive regression from $100 a box down to $5 a box. the 3rd, 4th, or even 5th hit aint going to make up for a bad run of PSO's early in the night. And what do you do when you hit 3rd box number? Full press I guess, because i can't see collecting $5-...

$540 across, 2 hits and down... does my math make sense?
I saw someone hunch, and place bet a couple box numbers for $100 each and get lucky--both numbers (the only two box numbers placed) hit immediately after the bet was wagered, in succession. The bettor took the place bets down as they were hit, and had nothing on the table when the seven came... it s...

Re: Who knew it was so hard to hit an 8?
On a true 6/8 parlay, the bet would increase to these totals: bet = $12 (dealer pays you $1) $24 (dealer pays you $2) $48 (dealer pays you $4) [$42 bet returning $12 to you would make a more convenient or 'manageable' bet--it pays $49--a. k. a. "$50 for $1") $102 (dealer pays you $2) In al...

Ahhh.... "permission granted". Thanks, Heavy. I'll blame you when it doesn't come in.Heavy wrote:... I prefer NOT to hear anyone hopping the sevens when I have the dice. ... Of course, I'll plead guilty to hopping the sevens on a randy a time or two - ...

Re: A new stickman steps in... do you hop the 7's?
Hi Dork, If you are absolutely convinced that the 7 shows up ~ 75% of the time when a stick-change happens, as opposed to its randomly-expected rate of 16.67% ; then you should wager far more than the $30 you were going to wager on the Hopping-7's. In other words, if you 'know' you have a ~450% edg...

A new stickman steps in... do you hop the 7's?
I know, I know... "it's just superstition"... I was at the table the other day. Four times I felt bad juju as the stick changed; I resisted the urge to throw out $30 and holler "7's hopping". Three times, the 7 came up. I had no money on the table, I was just waiting my turn at t...

Re: Who knew it was so hard to hit an 8?
Memo, Yes, you've summarized my betting scheme correctly--with just a minor variation when I'm betting on myself (mind you, I almost never bet $54 across [that much money anymore] on a random roller--if I feel "left out", I'll use Heavy's Heat Seeker strictly and exactly on randoms). I kno...

HEAVY: The biggest complaint I've heard about the new book is the price - it's not inexpensive. Then again, neither is my seminar DVD. I haven't read his book... but my retort is, with your DVD I was able to learn to set the dice, deliver and get consistent "from home, telecommuting", nev...

Re: Who knew it was so hard to hit an 8?
Mycoalsmith, If I may critique your betting without sounding condescending... a dealer broke me out of my "grind mode" betting strategy recently. At most, staying within my comfort zone, I was a $54 across bettor. His advice has paid off very well over the last two months, and converted se...

Poor man's version of MP's $204-Across Regression
https://axispowercraps.com/crapsforum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=222&p=1640&hilit=%24204#p1640 That's the link I found for Mad Professor's $204 WOTCO regression strategy. I like the idea a lot, I just can't stomach the expense of $204 at once. I also place my bets for a bigger quick kill if th...

How would you bet on a 'Craps No More' table?
I ran into a 'new' game at a casino. "Craps No More". On the come-out roll, the 2, 3, 11 and 12 are added to the box numbers as new 'points' you can bet. On the come-out roll, the eleven doesn't pay, and the 2, 3, and 12 do not lose on the Pass Line. There is no Don't in this game- no Don'...

Re: Pressed Place Bets after Multiple Made Points
I 'turn off' like Heavy does; I didn't started that practice because of anything I read, I do it that way because of the "experience" of getting burned when I haven't. It's all 'hunch'. When I used to get that feeling (that someone might have lost their rhythm) I'd sit in a ponderment as t...

... Comeout naturals are a bane for the Dont player. ... I have lost many times to long strings of comeout 7s and 11s. But I think of it as just being a part of the way , I WANT TO PLAY. I think of comeout 7s and 11s as "Hard Rain" that is fallin`. ... ...it seemed that comeout naturals r...

Re: increasing the bet--when?
H, In the portion of your post that I quoted, I know the value "20% advantage on the nine" is a random number you imagined up, but where is the basis for the figure? That's what really confuses me... I don't even know where I should look in my records for an "advantage" figure. Y...

Re: Do you qualify a shooter ?
I'll give a new RR a chance to hit some numbers at least once. On these new shooters, I'll use Heavy's Heat Seeker strategy, and I'll revolt against them and go "Don't" on their next hand if they bomb out before the 4th roll. At the time/day I play, there are usually a regular buncha folks...

increasing the bet--when?
I read up on the Kelly Criterion betting system, and I understand the concept of increasing/decreasing the bet by multiplying that constant ratio against the total bankroll. What I don't understand is how to figure out the actual single bet against a number. From https://axispowercraps.com/crapsforu...

Simple non-judgemental question for you guys. I'd like to know about your last live casino session. How long ago was it? Where did you play? What was your approach (betting strategy)? Did you win or lose? How much? I'm just trying to figure out if this thing is working for you guys. Give me some in...

Re: How do YOU play the hardways?
When people come up to the table and see all my hardway bets accumulating (when they do) they probably think I'm either a 'high roller' or an addict. Maybe I'm crazy, but when I'm up (any amount) I keep a goal of ~20% as a tip. (no offense to any readers) I figure the dealers are taking 'way better ...

Re: How do YOU play the hardways?
I've only been playing for about a year, and only once/twice a month at that up until ~March this year. I keep a log of my wins and losses at the casinos, (including approximate table time). I'm down for the year, but I'm reducing my losses as I get to understand different betting options; not a sur...
