Super Bowl

Believe it or not, craps is not the only game in the casino. Savvy players have a back-up plan for when their craps game is off. If Heavy isn't winning at Craps you're likely to find him playing Baccarat, Blackjack, or even Roulette. If the table games aren't working out he may even take a cigar break in the high limit slot area for a little hit-and-run action. But just like craps - you have to plan your play and play your plan. If you have a question on slots, video poker, carnival games or any table games other than craps, this is the place to post. Let's hear about the games you play when you're not playing craps! What's your game? What's your strategy? How's that working out for you? Inquiring minds want to know!

Super Bowl

Post by selfer61 » Sat Jan 24, 2015 2:28 pm

I'm going to Vegas for Super Sunday and plan on betting the game. Last I checked the spread was NE -1. If I go with my gut I will probably bet NE but what do I know. I know very little about sports betting but like to bet to keep it interesting. Any advice on how to bet the game?....parlays, over/under/etc? I know its early and the spreads can change significantly as we get closer to kickoff, but can Brady QB with an inflated football?

I have been watching a lot of the deflategate fiasco and the folks they have not interviewed as far as I know is the Referees. There are a bunch there. I cannot believe in that group that have been around football all their lives are not a few closet fans. So, maybe a ref gave a helping hand as they seem to do with flags.
Your craps plan? The dice gods laughed.

I don't know about betting the bowl, but if you're going to be in Vegas that weekend use caution at the tables. Lots of testosterone in the air and idiots with the dice.

;) UNHH!!The one properly inflated ball was for field goals; and how come Brady knows that he likes
12.5 psi ? Two good reasons to believe that the denials are BS

I'd probably have a few bets, say 4 or 5 for the game on different things - not just the spread as that can get a bit boring at times if the game is too one sided.

Things like:

First player to score a TD.
Lynch running yards under/over
Brady and/or Wilson passing yards under/over
Total points or total TDs over/under
Highest scoring quarter

All the above can give you bets to keep an eye on at various stages of the game. Then also why not pick a big odds hail mary type play that something weird or unlikely may happen? They do come in sometimes for example last year's safety as a first score - who saw that one coming?

There will plenty of stuff out there. Hell you can even bet over/under on length of the anthem :D
