Triple Crown and Belmont Stakes

Believe it or not, craps is not the only game in the casino. Savvy players have a back-up plan for when their craps game is off. If Heavy isn't winning at Craps you're likely to find him playing Baccarat, Blackjack, or even Roulette. If the table games aren't working out he may even take a cigar break in the high limit slot area for a little hit-and-run action. But just like craps - you have to plan your play and play your plan. If you have a question on slots, video poker, carnival games or any table games other than craps, this is the place to post. Let's hear about the games you play when you're not playing craps! What's your game? What's your strategy? How's that working out for you? Inquiring minds want to know!

Triple Crown and Belmont Stakes

Post by Bankerdude80 » Sat Jun 06, 2015 10:19 am

I don't think American Pharoah is gonna do it (Triple Crown). Statistically, the odds are against it. He'll probably be one of the top four finishers.

My pick is #3 Madefromlucky to win.

I hope I am right, considering my top pick for the Derby came in dead last. :o

Greetings bankerdude80

On this system you are going to bet [ Only to place. This system will put you in the money 70% of every race you bet. In this system you are only going to handicap post postion 1and 2and 3 and 4.
This system is called, Handicapping post postions.

[ 1 ] Bet Horse #1 if the horse qua- to the following--- when their's 5 minutes to post time AND his/hers
odds are 5 to 1 or less. the horse to bet in that race is #1.
If the odds on horse #1 is 6 to 1 or higher you do not bet horse # 1.

What to do next, Then you handicap horse #2. Handicap horse #2 the same way you did horse #1.

If horse #2 does not qua- then you handicap horse #3 the same way.

If horse #3 does not qua- then you handicap horse #4 the same way.

If post postions 1-2-3-or 4 don't qua- for that race, then you don't play that race, you move on to the next race.

Bankerdude 80, try it on the belmont stakes races, and let me know how you did.

The time you should take to handicap a race is about 1 minute or less.

If you have any questions, post them and i will answer them. Jaime.

Vegas Fan, I hope American Pharaoh wins...it would be good for the sport. First Triple Crown winner in 30+ some years.

Jaime, interesting way to handicap the race and bet. I may try sometime in the future, thanks. I don't bet too much on the horses,
I am still a novice. A $2 WIN bet, $1.00 Exacta, a 50 cent Trifecta, and a $2.40 ten cent boxed superfecta is my current budget.
Total Budget= $5.90 . Cost of a burger, fries, and drink. ;)

I usually use Beyer speed numbers, jockey Win %, trainer win %, power ratings, and horse win % to rank my picks. Then I look for
the track type run previously compared to current (e.g. dirt, turf, etc). I also look for horses that performed well in the past and are
being dropped down from previous longer distance races to now shorter ones. Scan for speed, comparing times and how any Closers
have performed in the past. I'm a details guy, so I enjoy the number crunching and analysis. I don't always have time for it though.

Jamie I didn't see your post until late this evening so I didn't have time to try in on the Belmont. I have always wanted to learn how to bet the races. Do you have any books to recommend and any other source I could lean from? I love to watch the thoroughbreds run and Santa Anita. Beautiful setting and a great place. The place betting system you posted make good sense and I will give it a try the next time I go to the races.

Good morning Bankerdude80 and claremont kid,

CK. this is what i can recommend for you, so you can learn about horse racing.

Google the following site [ if is alright with Heavy ] Equinnometry AND put a bookmark on it OR short cut. You can also join the Equinometry community.

When you try my system BET two hundred dollars to place, if after two winning bets you are ahead
you must stop betting for that day.

Is easy to win at the game of horse racing IF you know when to go home, just like the game of craps.

BK. and CK. good luck at your local casino today.

Thanks Bankerdude. I did not have a big bet only $10 to win. Both my sons boxed 5-6 and won too.
It was a good race for us.

Don't cash the win tix! More valuable as memorabilia!

I thought of that too Fred.
But the ticket was from a local track. Did not have much on the ticket, just "race 11 Belmont ".
I did cash it.

On Ebay, uncashed tickets for sale. I think its sort of interesting.

http://www.ebay.com/sch/sis.html?_nkw=% ... UCKY+DERBY

Anyways, seems like a ticket is more valuable uncashed than cashed, if it is from the track. I do remember reading about a guy that bought win tickets on ever horse in a race at those three tracks.
If he is still doing it, he may have hit a lottery.
