A slot machine player hit THE HUGE $8,500,000 jackpot..

Casino management promptly said : "No Dice to that size payout."
The player complained and demanded her money......

Management returned $80 of the $100 she had stuffed into
that malfunctioning machine moments before pushing the play button........

I play at the Luck Eagle now and then.

It was a malfunction and the spokesman was the CEO and his response was, "they did not want to lose her as a customer."

There are no 8.5 million dollar bonus machines in the casino. If there were, you couldn't get in the place.

From what I've read the top jackpot on that machine playing max coin in was $20,000. At the level she was betting $6,000 was the most she could possibly win.

It was definitely either a malfunction, a disgruntled code writer with a warped sense of humor, or someone had been trying to hack the machines firmware chip.

Why would such a high tech machine publish a payout of $8,500,000 or any amount
greater than the $20,000 :?: Also why not return the total amount wagered in said malfunctioning machine ?

Why if there were a "Malfunction" would the Lucky Eagle only returned $80 of
the $100 the patron placed in the machine ?
Seems cheesy on the surface........

Should it not the time at which the slot functioned without malfunction last functioned
well be accessible to those most familiar with the inner workings of said slot machine...

Would it be more fare to return
the total monies lost from the time the unit was last proven well-functioning ?

Holding on to $20 and returning only $80 seems like a Public Relations malfunction or something.

In this age of player cards and all the 'electronics,such tracing should be a snap...know / no ?
