Has Any Body Ever...

Believe it or not, craps is not the only game in the casino. Savvy players have a back-up plan for when their craps game is off. If Heavy isn't winning at Craps you're likely to find him playing Baccarat, Blackjack, or even Roulette. If the table games aren't working out he may even take a cigar break in the high limit slot area for a little hit-and-run action. But just like craps - you have to plan your play and play your plan. If you have a question on slots, video poker, carnival games or any table games other than craps, this is the place to post. Let's hear about the games you play when you're not playing craps! What's your game? What's your strategy? How's that working out for you? Inquiring minds want to know!

Post by Knick111 » Sun Dec 22, 2019 9:13 pm

Greeting guys/gals,

Has anybody on this forum ever thought about buying a home and living
and playing craps in Vegas?

I have, but due to my age and health i can not do it.
You, yes you who can afford it AND are in your late 20's And late 30's, do it before is to late.
Don't be one of those people WHO one day Wakes up and is pushing 70, and thinks i should
have done it.

Good Morning Jaime1943

Has anybody on this forum ever thought about buying a home and living
and playing craps in Vegas? NO SIR,

Though a passing thought of buying a lot/building a house in Biloxi for playing Bac. IMO Biloxi is one of the finest gaming cities in the USA and also offers a "perceived" livable environment. Deep Sea Fishing :D

Hi Jaime 1943,
The very best way to make a small fortune playing Craps professionally is to start with a Large Fortune.

In the Las Vegas ( Clark County ) Nevada housing environment

renting may offer an option
perhaps overlooked until one decides if permanent residency is the BEST idea.

For somewhat less than the true cost involved in Owning one may RENT
SAFE, comfortable and favorably located living space.....

Long ages ago
I rented an extended stay place
on Convention Center Las Vegas
( cross the street from the now gone Deby Reynolds Casino )
Easy stroll to Las Vegas Blvd.

One major player
Siegel Suites Select
holds a number of properties in Las Vegas

Stay several days, weeks, months, decades.....
Relatively secure with options
furnished, not furnished, utilities included
parking
Also several others in the EXTENDED STAY industry

Weekly & Monthly Rates in Las Vegas, Nevada ...

Had neighbors who moved on in two weeks
and
several who dug in PERMANENTLY

May answer one's curiosity as to what actually living in Las Vegas, Nv is all about
( if you call that Living )

If it is the one I've seen on youtube.. It's an online gaming site which, I believe, takes digital currency like bitcoin. They also have high stakes blackjack. The table is like a tub with one dealer who takes the dice and puts them into an open metal box type holder attached to a mechanical arm which tosses the dice. It is totally random. I don't see this as ever being in a brick and mortar venue. It's just a further "humanizing" of online betting. At least the dice aren't controlled by a random numbers generator, but they are still random as thrown by a machine.

Greetings thnick,

Just give the casinos time, they will have them in our brick and motor casinos s

it eliminates 3 employees from the craps tables, that's a big saving for them.

All that will take for them to switch over is one casino to switch over..

Things are going to change soon in the casino industry. they are hurting big time in their pockets.

Luck at the casino for all.

Here I sit in Missouri after moving here in February from the Pine Belt in Miss'ippi. I was less than 90 minutes from the Coastal casinos; I wish I'd never moved. This will never be home; the weather's nasty (it hasn't ever been warm enough) and the casinos are at least 2-1/2 hours drive. I din't know what I was gonna be missin'.

BUT.... while I was there, like all the others have said, I made a small fortune out of a larger one by attending the tables.

I'm 73 and just went through nearly two weeks of Snowmagedden in Tennesse freezing my rear off! I regret not moving to Laughlin when I retired 9 years ago. Vegas is too much for me but Laughlin would be just right, old ppl., smoky casinos, cheap buffets, worn out carpets, and cheap table limits.
