148th Kentucky Derby

Believe it or not, craps is not the only game in the casino. Savvy players have a back-up plan for when their craps game is off. If Heavy isn't winning at Craps you're likely to find him playing Baccarat, Blackjack, or even Roulette. If the table games aren't working out he may even take a cigar break in the high limit slot area for a little hit-and-run action. But just like craps - you have to plan your play and play your plan. If you have a question on slots, video poker, carnival games or any table games other than craps, this is the place to post. Let's hear about the games you play when you're not playing craps! What's your game? What's your strategy? How's that working out for you? Inquiring minds want to know!

Greetings raider,

After handicapping these horses, I find any horse can win this race.

So I am picking [ Skippylongstocking ]to win 50 dollars to win, 70 dollar Exacta wheel to place AND120 dollars to show.

Betting light on this race.

luck at the Belmont Guys, let the race begin.

Raider, which is your Pick to win it all?

Your right, this is wide open, small field, I think one of the chalk is going to take it. We the People, hits my radar, and is in the one hole. Creative Minister hits it too, and has a breeding factor I look for. but to win, I think Rich Strike. Think I will use yours and my two in a tri and super, and throw in nest in the super. for the hell of, I will make your bet as well, but I am going lighter than you 5/7/12. will be betting the race to make it more fun to watch, don't think any thing is going to pay well.

rich strikes daddy, thats the only reason I would have bet on him in the derby, but he really took to the dirt.

bet you a dollar that Golden glider does not come in last.

Hi/good luck with tickets at Belmont

Belmont: RichStrike will need a perfect pace and a couple better horses to burn out, otherwise no gold today/though could contend for a silver or bronze.
(1-We the People) will be on the lead/final results will depend on who tries to push him early on/who burns out.

Down the stretch it will be difficult to hold off (6-MoDen). Maybe only a long shot like (2-skippylongstcking) will be up for the task and nick em all coming down the stretch late.

2-6-3-5 (Win bets on 6,3)

Just my opinions of course (Reminder: I was 0-3 in the Derby)

All the best,
All the best,
Tgold

only one long shot on the board, but 12-1 isn't much of a longshot. I am going with the 4 that hit my radar, in a boxed trifecta, and superfecta 1,2,5,6. now to poke around in the dime supers

Made your bet. Do you have a name for it? I made it in $1 units, and I noticed something in the amounts, never understood how you got them before. Win bet(5 units)+ 2 units = exacta. Exacta + win bet = Show.

Congrats Jaime1943 et al Belmont winners.

Ive noted before that I typically only wager on the trip crown races or breeders cup,...etc. Typically I report back with a woulda, coulda, shoulda post race report that I was 1for3 or 0for3,..etc. Because typically I needed one horse to move up or down one slot and THEN I woulda won big time.
However, this Belmont I received the favor: Collected on the Win, Exacta, Tri, and just missed the super. I even tagged a small dailydouble on 10th/11th. :D

I think i will start a handicapping service: Tgolds5***** Picks.

Cheers,
All the best,
Tgold

I Picked Mo Donegal to win the Belmont. The card that day at Belmont was pathetic. Small fields, not a lot of value. No big scores this day.

Amen BD, horse racing has been a yawer since Co-Vid. The performance factors I track have all been in the decline since the lock down. The belmont has no flavor if the tc isn't on the line. Jamies bet has got me thinking about the start of the next derby trail. It seems as though the 2yo races in the trail in the fall are longshot rich. Going to have to do some research.
