Put Bets same as Buy Bets

Setting and influencing the dice roll is just part of the picture. To beat the dice you have to know how to bet the dice. Whether you call it a "system," a "strategy," or just a way to play - this is the place to discuss it.

Put Bets same as Buy Bets

Post by Iceman95 » Sun Nov 04, 2012 11:37 am

I was playing on Friday. A guy came to the table and did his buy in. He made PUT BETS for the inside numbers. He did table minimum of $10 w/$100 odds on each number. This was the first time I seen someone do a put bet while I was playing. Is there a commission on the puts if they win? Are they decent bets to make?

MP,
Thanks for the links. It was enjoyable reading. I will be playing during the week. I will probably make some put bets if its allowed at the casino I will be playing at.

Hi Iceman,

The critical thing to remember about Put-bets, is to keep the flat-vs-odds ratio as high as possible. That is, use as much Odds and as low of a flat bet as you can. That way, the Odds can act as an advantage leveraging skill-multiplier for your dice-influenced throws.
