ALL, Small & Tall

Setting and influencing the dice roll is just part of the picture. To beat the dice you have to know how to bet the dice. Whether you call it a "system," a "strategy," or just a way to play - this is the place to discuss it.

ALL, Small & Tall

The AST bet has come to my favorite casino. One of the regulars has been hitting the S or T almost every trip.

Anyone got any ideas for maximizing?

Well, Golfer. A couple of years ago in Vegas I rolled the ALL twice in one hand. Three all 12 numbers before making my second or third pass - I forget which. Then tossed a come-out seven that brought them all down. Then rolled all 12 a second time before finally sevening out. Now, guess how much money I had bet on it . . . . NOT A DIME. Grrrr.

I personally feel this is one of the most ignored avenues for revenue. Even when considering just a random shooter the bet has a greater chance of being profitable versus something like the Firebet. The one and only time I've played the ATS I had very good results. Although I missed the ALL several times by 1 or 2 numbers. At the one and only table testing this bet at the chocolate factory there was debate on how easy the bet was to hit. The dealer who saw me do well with it the day before set the record straight quickly. I then proceeded to be miss both sides by 1 number and missed the ALL of course by 2 ( both the numbers on each side ).

I only saw one random shooter hit the ALL in the 2 days I played that table. I only caught the Small on her. I hadn't seen her shoot previously so I didn't put out a bet for the tall and all.

I have hit the S & T but never the ALL. 7's do rain on the parade. I do see people hedge with the hoppers or big red.

If your shooting is on I think you have to go for this. The question is how to ration your bet. I think a 50% reduction overall for the ALL because of the high payout so 10-5-10 seems to make sense. I think $25 is max.

I could be wrong but I thought - granted I haven't played the table in months - that the limit at the 1 & only table that offer ATS at the chocolate factory ( LV ) had a much higher limit for the bet. For some reason I was thinking it was along the lines of $100 for the sides $50 for the middle. Then again I'm aging daily - maybe my memory isn't what it used to be.

A trip the prison community trying to make an old prison a tourist destination needs to be in my future soon. Wanting to give ATS another go.
