if you have a pass line bet on a 25 dollar table, can you place odds for less than $25 since it is essentially part of the same bet? I never played at this level table before but may have to on my next trip so working up a grind strategy with a high minimum. Gulp! Lol.
thanks for feedback from you all.

25$ minimum table question

Re: 25$ minimum table question
Yes, you absolutely can. I'm assuming all the table minimums will be $25 is why you are asking?
You could also play a Doey/Don't ($25 pass line and $25 Don't Pass Line) and place whatever odds you are comfortable with behind your pass line bet (or DP line bet for that matter if you feel the shooter will not make his point). This effectively turns it into a $5 table if you want, of course the occasional 12 on the come out roll will cost you $25, and it does happen.

Re: 25$ minimum table question
Often times when you are playing the Don'ts at the $25 level the box will tell you that they do not allow partial odds on a lay - you have to lay sufficient to win one unit. This tends to be not only casino specific - but box specific within the casino. I don't recommend the doey-don't because you're giving up 8 ways to win on the Pass line to 3 ways to win on the Don't Pass on the Come Out. Just go ahead and brave the Pass Line and forget the hedges. My opinion but I'm sticking to it. With that said, if you're gunshy about playing a $25 game you can always do a $30 Pass and a $25 Don't Pass, converting it to a $5 game - then take single odds.

Re: 25$ minimum table question
If you are comfortable playing a $5 Minimum Craps Table with a Buy In of $300
you may be at a similar Comfort Level at a $25 Minimum game with a $1500 Buy In.
.
You may presume a higher level of game savvy ......However Factor other than 100%
.
At any level table minimum OBSERVE first ,then BUY IN so informed...
Just me saying

Re: 25$ minimum table question
My experience has been that it depends on the casino. I've tried placing odds for less than table minimum and have been told that my odds bet has to meet the table minimum. Others don't seem to care.

At Gold Strike in Tunica you must lay and take enough odds to win one unit ($25 on a $25 table).
