So this is a "3 point molly" with stake progression once you have reached a certain profit level?

I have been playing similar to this myself recently with some variations - but only with single odds to start with - and would agree that 300/350 is OK as your bankroll but you would need more (e.g the 500 you state) for double odds so that you are not getting in for more than 10% of your starting bankroll in one hand.

Does he have a rule on reloading after a craps number? I have been reloading just once, then no more bets either until a winning bet or a new qualified shooter Another aspect I like doing is parlaying a comeout winner. Got this from Grafstein, but I believe he only parlays once, whereas I like to go 5-10-20. Again like Grafstein if I parlay a comeout winner I don't take odds.

Sam and John are rather adamant about not playing the hardways, C&E, hop bets, and horn's - as is it is "candy for the casino". All of the PRO players I know won't bet on them, with one exception - When you are a DI and you bet only on the Hard Ways that you are most likely to shoot, and even then it is at a conservative level.

I see those bets as the 'Crack Cocaine' for craps players who see a few big wins, perhaps had a lucky Parlay/Win with them where $5 is turned in to hundreds!!! That is the "Craps Crack Head" dream. Though the reality is a nightmare, where the afflicted player loses far more than they win in the long run and continued playing of them will just put the player in to financial ruin. I simply tell newbies, if they ask, to not bet on them - EVER!

I'm far from being an aggressive bettor, but I believe Hop bets used in certain spots can be very beneficial. Here's two examples of where I'll hop a number. If I'm just hammering a number (say the six) and I turn all my bets off for some reason (stick change, new money) I may hop the six for one roll. Second, and this is my favorite Hopper........ if I make a point, for my next come out roll I'm going to Hop that hot six here too. Sorta like working the hot six on the come out and not risking all your other place bets to a seven.

Hop bets are your friend. Just make them the kind of friends you don't see too often. When you do see them (make them) do so only if you are "on" and hitting the numbers more than you would expect.

Hop bets, if used properly, are like the double down option in 21. It gives you the opportunity to win a little extra to turbocharge a session's results. As Heavy says, when it ain't no fun time to run.....so when the hoppers stop hitting pull the plug on them for that session and like your friends tell them you will see them again.........in the future.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you can call each individual place / hardway bet on or off seperately.
