Believe it or not, craps is not the only game in the casino. Savvy players have a back-up plan for when their craps game is off. If Heavy isn't winning at Craps you're likely to find him playing Baccarat, Blackjack, or even Roulette. If the table games aren't working out he may even take a cigar break in the high limit slot area for a little hit-and-run action. But just like craps - you have to plan your play and play your plan. If you have a question on slots, video poker, carnival games or any table games other than craps, this is the place to post. Let's hear about the games you play when you're not playing craps! What's your game? What's your strategy? How's that working out for you? Inquiring minds want to know!
Heard about this game from my son yesterday who played it recently in AC and won about $1200. It's apparently available mainly in AC and Vegas.
Free Bet Blackjack is a variation on the standard blackjack game:
Six decks
Dealer hits soft 17
Double after split allowed
Double on first 2 cards only
Re-split pairs up to 4 times, including aces
It also adds the following twists:
Free doubles on 9-10-11 and Free Splits, where the house places a free bet button rather than the player putting up his own chips. Winning hands with free bet buttons are replaced with chips equaling the original bet. Pushes only return the original bet to the player. Similarly losing hands only have the original wager at risk.
A dealer 22 is a PUSH against all of the players hands
The one I saw had $25 min bet at a casino that usually had $10 min for the regular blackjack. I asked the Super and he said that it never changes from $25. So I am curious if at other casinos it's also this high or have you people seem them at a lower min bet.
