Tier Credits

Setting and influencing the dice roll is just part of the picture. To beat the dice you have to know how to bet the dice. Whether you call it a "system," a "strategy," or just a way to play - this is the place to discuss it.

Tier Credits

Post by six shooter »

After 2 hands in a row of mid 30's from our crew, we were surprised at our Tier credits received from the session. I inquired about the low tier score and they told me you only receive 1/3 credit on additional money or bets after your initial bets. We had several numbers really pressed as JC hit 11 4's on one hand. I never heard of this? They did triple my tier points for the day after the pit boss came over to discuss this with me and said he would look into my action.

The two guys who I play with have a crap table in their work office and practice for hours daily. Very talented DI's!

That is amazing Six Shooter. Ronald Graham who has tracked 125,000 rolls has not found one instance of more than 8 4s or 10s appearing in a single hand. I post his video here. In fact I think he found only 10 instances of 8 rolls happening..or less. All I know is that when 6 4s or 10s are out there on a roll, I am all over the lay bet.

I will never buck the trend. In this situation my assumption is that the shooter will still be rolling fours and tens this time tomorrow.

I'd be right behind Heavy on the way to table max on a dream hand like that.

I'd be all over that four too. Hopefully I'm ahead of Heavy up until he pulls out one of his power press moves. If PVW was on the same hand, look out! The race to table max is on.

I was once on a table at the Diamond Jo in Dubuque, Iowa, where THIRTEEN 4s were rolled. Those $500 table max hits were great but man I wish the limit had been higher !

You can always ask if they'll let you PUT the point. I've done that in the past on low limit games. $500 Buy bet on the Four - plus a $50 Put bet with $500 odds on a 10X odds table. Want more on the table? Find a partner.

Actually was about to give money to my friend to put up. LONG LONG ago and wasn't wise enough to ask about switching to come bet or adding put bet.
