Baseball Sports betting

Believe it or not, craps is not the only game in the casino. Savvy players have a back-up plan for when their craps game is off. If Heavy isn't winning at Craps you're likely to find him playing Baccarat, Blackjack, or even Roulette. If the table games aren't working out he may even take a cigar break in the high limit slot area for a little hit-and-run action. But just like craps - you have to plan your play and play your plan. If you have a question on slots, video poker, carnival games or any table games other than craps, this is the place to post. Let's hear about the games you play when you're not playing craps! What's your game? What's your strategy? How's that working out for you? Inquiring minds want to know!

Parlay betting is like giving the bookie or casino about $32 of every hundred you bet. This number is from an analysis of Vegas sports book takes over many years. Yeah, you might hit a few, but over time it is a really bad bet. If you have a lot of money, what the hell. I know the attraction..a little bit of money can win big. That's the way they suck you in.

You may be right. I feel the same way about flat betting. Parlays is the only way to play two power teams against two dogs in baseball.....in my opinion. If you flat bet them, you have to lay too much money.

“Gambling with an Edge” needs to be a go to podcast for all different ways of making money in a casino. This weeks interview Mr Ventura, focuses on sports betting.

I don't do sports betting, but there currently a guy who has won a lot in several days on Jeopard. He set a new record for a days win and has won over $450,000 through today.. Gives him a nice bankroll for his sports betting.

I kind of agree with the "Ventura Podcast" as giving minus -$180 to bet the favorite to win $100, while that aligns with my darkside outlook, isn't really a starter for me. Maybe its for the same reason I don't like to straight lay the point (i.e betting $200 to win $100). While true you need both events to happen, when you combine it with a 6 point teaser in an NFL parlay that's serious leverage. I don't bet baseball.....yet ;-)

My series bet is not doing so well.....but I am still alive.

I am on Kyle Busch again in Nascar. He just blazed his way up to first......but still 100's of laps to go.

Today's pick I am going with the two best pitchers. Degrom and Scherzer. Pays a little less than 2 to 1.

Well, the odds change as game time moves closer. First you search for the best deal among all the book sites. Two teams. One is -180, the other is +150. As the money piles in, the book will try to balance out the money so they don't lose their margin, right? Now, suddenly the team that was -180 is at +100 or at least has better odds. If I was a sports gambler I'd go with that team because the original consideration by all the books evened out the teams. Same in horse racing. Money talks as always. And knowing what it says is the thing.

Ok after this weekend some bets have come into focus..... Astros and Indians are going to win their respective divisions ( only ones with above average pitching staffs ), American League has a lot of teams who are bad. First wild card us either Yankees or rays ( rays win division ifs they stay healthy ). If future bets are still in bet able range, long range futures parlay would be a good bet. American central has one good team and one mediocre ( twins ) and three really bad teams. American west has one really good team and three mediocre to bad teams in it. Twins have best chance to make second wild card ( because they play Detroit,kc and white sox about fifty times. Only other team is possibly Red Sox, assuming they actually get their act together.....it is going to be a VERY long season in Seattle.....rick

Tonight I am doing one play. I am going to ride the Yankees. Even with their injuries, they have won 6 straight. It pays even money.

Ouch. The Yankees have won 9 of the last 10, and there one loss was when I bet them. Went to bed with a 4-0 lead and woke up with an 11-5 loss.

Today I am parlaying the Mets, Yankees and Dodgers. Bet pays about 4 to 1.

R: I am getting a real kick out of reading your bets. BB is such a sport that you never know who will get hot, who will go into a slump, who is just mailing it in, who will not run out the obvious out. The manager that all he can do is move players around but has no way to motivate a player making a $100 million or whatever, fixed for life and all he wants is not get injured. I suggest the opposing pitcher dust the big money players. On the other hand, win or lose, nothing will change in this world.

Todays play is Tamps and Philly. Parlay pays about 1.5 to 1.

Ok, Seattle just got slaughtered by the Cubs. They are going on a ten game road trip to Cleveland,Yankees and Red Sox. We will lose ALL three series. Probobly go 3 wins and seven loses on the trip.about as sure a thing as you are going to find.
