Do the 8 rolls include the C/O?

What about tables where the 7 is showing quicker than 8 rolls, do you stay on the 8 count or change it?

Hi Dark Side

Yes I count the come roll when I am counting 8.

Yeah that happens sometimes, like the other day. The table was trending Point, seven-out or Point, number, seven-out. It was like that half way around the table. I said to myself, "Man I am missing out on a lot of money." So in that case I went on the Don't Pass instead. As long as the trend was there I followed it. When it stopped, which it did, then I went back to waiting 8 rolls again.

Thank you for the reply. I'm heading out today and am going to give it a try.

I always include the C/O in a roll count, a lot don't, never understood why not.

I couldn't sit on my hands if the trend were quick outs, would drive me crazy. :)

I'll let you know how it works for me.

If the 8th role is a come out roll do you just wait one more roll or do you just bet the DP.

One of my dark side favorite wages which I can tell you Heavy does not like Howard does not like in fact nobody likes it except myself and of course the person that showed it to me, perhaps there's a good reason why but it seems work for me.

If a random roller throws two back to back 4, 5,9 or 10
I will wait one more roll then lay that number. If they throw the number a third time i will lay double the normal If a 7 doesn't appear within 5 rolls I take the lay down. After taking the lay down If the number is rolled again before the 7 wait one more roll then I will go back up on the lay.

Never made it to casino today but tomorrow if looking good

If it's knocked off I wait for the next time it comes along

Hi Bones
After 8 rolls and it’s the come-out roll, I wait until the point is established. Then I put $10 in the Don’t Come.

Hi $5Bill

I gave your 8 count method a shot yesterday. Only problem I had was the majority of the outs were between 5 and 7 rolls. Had to adjust or miss an opportunity. The C/O rolls were quick, points set in a roll or two, leaving 3 to 5 rolls before going out.

Do you adjust to these situations? I know you go to DP if they are PSO or point out in 1 roll.

I used to run a 5 count but decided to go strictly on the DP from the get go, which is how I play now. If the table is cold, I will put up a DC or two.

The tables in the northwest casinos are extremely choppy right now, I'm looking for some sort of system to avoid the mayhem. I'm thinking your system or my old system might be the answer.

Hi Dark Side

I adjust once in a great while. But I like staying with 8 rolls. This is a grind play so I have to be patient if I want to meet my win goal for the day. Sometimes it takes longer and sometimes it is quick.

I played today and made my +$50 win goal using a $100 Buy-In. I took yesterday’s win and today’s win and put another $100 bill in my Caribbean Cruise envelope.

Hi

I understand your method.

I'm going to continue the 8 count for a while to see how it works. One go around is not enough to make a sound decision.

I'm not opposed to a grind and 50.00 per session is fine with me. I'm not trying to make a living. My days of looking for and making a big hit are over.

I want to steadily increase my bank roll so I can increase my bets and enjoy the game.

I play while my wife plays slots. Better than sitting at the bar drinking cokes. :)

Hope that envelope is filling fast!

I played two sessions yesterday, one was 24 hands the other 22. I was with other people which probably wasn't a good idea as I had to leave prematurely. Both sessions had WTF moments. Patiently waiting for an opportunity to bet and when it finally comes it's 7 out even worse 11's back to back.

After first 11 I went back up, and after second 11 I stopped. Was this correct play limiting two losses per shooter?

I was even at the end of both sessions. Never down more than three units never up more than two. IMHO, is a very good play thanks for sharing

Hi Bones

When I am with other people or have to be somewhere else at a certain time, I feel pressured. I do better when I am by myself and don't have to be anywhere.

Back to back 11's sucks. I know, it has happened to me too. The other day I had bought in for $100. During the time I was at the $10 table my Don't come bet went to the 10 three times. I laid single odds and got knocked off of them all three times. There wasn't much left of my $100 so I left and went over to the other table. I bought in again for $100 and started doing my Don't Come play. I kept my patients. It took a while but what a difference it made by switching tables. Not only did I get my $100 back but I made my +$50 win goal for the day.

Hi,

An update on the 8 count. I have gone to a 5 count, I'm missing way to many opportunities as most shooters of late have been going out between 4 and 7 rolls.

The 5 count is working just fine and I'm sure the 8 count will too. I'll give it another try when the rolls get longer.

Most don't players I know back off a shooter after one loss, C/O or DC, doesn't matter and wait for the next shooter.

There are those who chase, they typically loose to that shooter. I don't know why, just seems to happen.

If I loose to the same shooter twice in a session, I'm done with that shooter for the day.

I took a look back at my results and going back up after first loss eeks out slightly better. Seems like the second bet wins just a tad more often creating a break even for the shooter but stopping after one loss is a great option that is also used by Dylan Freake in his Dylanacci cow tipping method. Might be good to combine the two into a "Davenacchi?"

Yes, I am done with that shooter. I won my bet so why push it. I don't know how many times I've seen the 7 show up right after the shooter throws aces or an ace-deuce.

Hi $5Bill,

Question.

What prompted you to use the 8 count?

High Dark Side

I go by the average number of rolls per shooter which is 8.525510 per the Wizard of Odds. So I put my Don't Come bet out after the 8th roll.
