If you haven't figured it out yet, I like short and simple betting strategies that have the potential to return a decent profit. The old $10/$30 play is one of my favorite. This is a flat betting parlay move. Start out with $10 on the Pass Line. Yeah, you can play it on the Don'ts if you want, but I prefer to make this move on the right side when the come-out sevens are showing like crazy. Anyway, $10 on the Line. Shooter tosses a natural winner and you are paid $10. Take an additional $10 out of your rack, add it to the $10 win and power press the Pass Line bet to $30. Cross your fingers and hope for another natural (or a Pass if the shooter establishes a point). The second win pays $30. Take down your winnings and head for the exit with an extra $40 in your pocket.

Having fun with this strategy? Go for one more power press. Drop $10 on that $30 win and press your line bet to $70. If you win that one you'll be up $110. Take the money and run.

Could be the Advantage Player Anthem:

Those haunting lyrics " Give me three steps Mister ,three steeps towards the door ! "

$110 times one each session is a great first step to a hobby that pays ...............

Just me saying

When I was just beginning playing craps and my my bankroll was low ,I basically played just a one flat bet or a flat bet single odds strategy. Of course , I always experimented with different ways of playing low risk , small stakes strategies , unlike Wolfbyte that experiments with high risk, higher stakes strategies (and Wolfbyte has the bankroll to do those experimentations).

I think my bankroll was around $1500 when a guy over on the Tunicams site wrote a song about "Cowtippin`" and sang it at one of our fall meets which in those days was held at the Sheraton Casino in Tunica. I had just read the Dice Doctors book about how he parlayed any craps wins from the Dont Pass, so I started doing that and would yell, "Cowtippin!!!" , after each parlayed DP win. This lead to Dylanfreak`s Cowtippin` strategy #17, where I would parlay any DP win.

I was risking one unit to win three units.

A boxman once asked me , "Why are you simplifying a complicated game?"

"Because I`m stupid!", I replied. "COWTIPPIN`!!!!!"
