Hi Heavy,

Did you ever fool the full moon, and only shoot left handed on a full moon day?

JAIME.

PS:- I Think I just posted another open ended question.

I played on the day of the full moon and it got me again.

In my nine step series of wagers , I lost the first eight straight , then won the ninth , but lost the "Cowtipper".

There was no yelling of "COWTIPPIN" that session.

Hi dylanfreake,

If you go to a casino thinking you are going to lose, you will lose. Be it full moon OR whatever.

My brother inlaw won't go to a casino on Tuesday BECAUSE he says he will lose, so once in a while he
does-- and low and behold he looses. because he goes with a mind set THAT he will lose.

Jaime, On the next Full Moon , I hope to make it back to the casinos, but the day before I shall play all Bob Dylan songs that have the word "moon" in them to try and break the" Full Moon Darkside Jinx".

Good Morning Dyanfreake,

Good luck on your journey to the moon and back.

How many Bob Dylan records do you have?

Well the Full Moon was here and Gail had a room booked at the casino , so off we go . I had wwwwwww in my thoughts . I was really expecting the worse playing the Donts on/around the full moon.

The first session lasted 45 minutes . The table emptied and I was all alone , so color me up---$40 win.

Maybe the full moon affect or e-ffect, won`t get me this time.

The second session ,before dinner at the Americana buffet, was a true full moon session as I went down $90. Now, the full moon had me $50 in its debt.

I ate too much and shall begin exercising more and eating less beginning Sunday (whichever Sunday is that Sunday). I love the Asian food at the "Americana" buffet and the collard greens and the Salmon and the shrimp and the crab legs and the trout and the .....yeah it was Seafood Friday night---$26.99 per person---- but Gail had a coupon for two buffets.

Just before eating Gail shows me a 1099 she received for hitting a $2400 jackpot.

After a good night`s sleep, I go downstairs to play a third and last session. This session turned out to be a good one . I finally was able to have a full moon winning group of sessions. This last one was a $80 winner , so I left for home with a modest $30 win for the trip.

On this trip , I played a little differently from the way I have been playing . I had a loss limit of $300 and I tried to get three $5 DP /DC wagers established all with single odds . I used the Dice Doctor`s way of play by not making any further bets on the current shooter after a losing wager.

I also , like the Dice Doctor, parlayed any craps wins. By doing this , I got to yell "COWTIPPIN`" quite a few times. I would also yell "COWTIPPIN`" after getting three wagers established and winning all three of them.

Thinkin` about wolfbyte.......

Congrats. Same to Gail as well. Saw the moon but didn't think of playing craps. Am on a time out to attend social things and also to relight the yearning. If I play too much I lose the "yearn", don't concentrate and lose focus & money.

Paid my outrageous Cook County property taxes today, got a haircut and will go to a party toight. No craps.

DF, I like the new style of play. A little like a modified "Dave". Cool.

First read, thought you said the taxes gave you a haircut. Anyway, Heavy got his last hair cut in the Carter administration, cost him $.50 plus a $.10 tip.

Normally I'd post an article like this in the STOCK-trading thread here on H's board; but I don't think our friend, Dylanfreake, (whom I know as a HUGE Vidalia onion fan) visits that sub-board very often, so this seemed like as good a place as any.

A little "dice voodoo" reading for your recreational enjoyment. Does the Full Moon effect the roll of the dice? After all, it moves the tides in the ocean . . .

I had never given it much thought. but i played with a couple of guys that had done alot of research and they firmly believed in it. I know it affects animal behavior, both land and sea. I guess if you are playing on a boat it would be more of a consideration. I think about humidity and other climate issues and how they affect the table. I have noticed humidity effects on my table. It is in the back of my store in a room off my shooting lanes. Its an old building with roof leaks and lots of other moisture issues. When it is really bad i have to run a dehumidifier to get my table to respond more like what i face in live casinos.

I did play once just before a major eclipse. The day before everything was great. The day of the eclipse was my first really bad day playing craps. The next day things began to improve again. Im not saying i believe the eclipse caused anything, but its better than admitting to bad tossing or bad betting. However i wont be playing during a major eclipse anymore.
