Has any one tried this

Don't know why I am asking this, but has anyone tried to buy or lay both the 4 and 10 for $10.00 ea. Its a 5% vig, so both would have to be bet at the same time, so no need for .5 chips. As a buy bet, if one hits, take it down, and wait for the other one to hit, then buy one or the other for $25. If layed, if one gets knocked off, the other acts as a hedge. I just tried it on on wincraps but it was a buck big on each. twisted idea?

Find a casino that only collects the vig on a win? I don't know. I've seen casinos that only collect the BUY vig on a win as long as you're betting $20 or more - but if you want to Buy the number for $10 they want the vig up front - essentially discouraging you from doing it. I doubt seriously that you'll "sell" that idea to the pit, but hey - if you don't ask you don't get.

Maybe I am misunderstanding what's being talked about here ... but I just played at Jumer's in Quad Cities this weekend and they had free buys on 4 & 10 for $10 each, paying $19 on hits -- VIG only on wins.
Have seen this at several casinos.
Heck, Main Street Station in Las Vegas gives you free buys at $5 that pay $9.75!!! And $10 pays $19.50. (No vig up front!)

The house I have in town collects the vig up front and is only 2x on the 2 and 12, I will find out.

The only craps game here in maryland that offers vigs on win is the organic craps games. perhaps i should consider? or do you all think it's fixed?
