Many things indicate the 7 is coming. 5 out of 6 of them are usually wrong on average.
Dice Control and Betting Strategies for Casino Craps

I think these are pretty good rules of thumb. The reason is that the seven ALWAYS comes. It might come after two craps numbers. It might come after 8 -8 -8. Most hands are pretty short. 80% of all rolls will be 10 tosses or less. So if you have a positive strategy like placed box numbers and you know that you are expecting 2-10 numbers before the seven most of the time, then it's not a bad idea to take your bets down if you hit a streak of numbers that aren't paying you. Live to fight another day. Just because you put money at risk this hand doesn't mean you HAVE to leave it up until it pays you something. Learn to value the push. If I set the point then go across and then roll 11 - 2 - 3 then I just take it all down. Not because that craps string indicates the seven, but because I didn't get paid for three rolls. Same thing if I'm betting inside and then roll 4 - 10 - 10 - 4. Yes those are box numbers but I wasn't on them. So now I'm four rolls closer to the seven. At this point I choose to reset and wait for the next hand to try again.kingofdice wrote:I heard in Vegas that when you see consecutive crap #s come out that is the sign that the 7 is coming, also all the numbers but yours hit, then its time to get off the table.
