don't side craps, a vanilla approach.

Audio sucks, but here is a video showing a random session on WinCraps where I play the don't. The session is my basic vanilla approach with some charting. If the table was colder..i.e. more seven outs I would probably add laybets. Method of play is to chart a table. When rolls turn into junk and you get a seven out..that's when I started the Logitech. WinCraps is totally random on this video. That will be another video showing how I do that. It's partly a Patrick richochet.

Describe the methodology?

Pretty much the same method I use at a live casino. At a live casino, first I check out what's happening at the table..the chip racks, the action on the felt. Is it lean (prop bets or no?) Are the numbers heavily covered?.Are people walking away? Are they bunched up and happy? I buy in, I watch the shooter. Is it random or DI style? So it's random. Now that doesn't mean the shooter won't roll for forty minutes, but now he's rolled a couple of junk numbers amidst a 10, 6..Then a seven out. So I watch..does another 7 out come within five numbers? Yes, it does! Now.. I venture a DP bet, take odds, then a DC and then another DC. Maybe I get hit on one of them..I go another DC always having 3 bets working. Now and again I will throw a dollar yo to cover the DC, or I may go $3 hop sevens on the dark side CO, but I don't like hedge betting as a rule. Seven out. I win. I will go the same bets again. If the shooter makes his number I will stop and wait again for another short 7 out roll.Should I get a don't situation where 7s are hitting inside 5 rolls one after the other I will even make "no 9" bets after a 9 hits and one roll follows. IF..the shooter makes his point, then starts rolling inside numbers..makes a pt..I will switch to an $18 6 and 8 AND the number that he keeps rolling..maybe a 10.
Remember..I stopped after the shooter made his point and I'm watching again. Now the action seems to have switched to the right side. So I jump into right side betting. This is the toughest part for me because I have a natural lack of trust with RR. But I've seen huge rolls from slingers. I have to be convinced to have a don't side progession. I don't like Martingale betting..it's a suckers chase. Fib progression is a bit better, but it's still a chase. If I had dropped $200 out my $400 buy in..I would have quit.

So, to recap the dark side methodology, you play a 3-point Molly on the don't with single odds laid on the DP. Keep three bets in action until a decision. I'll assume that if your DP with odds gets knocked off, you don't replace the odds lay.

I sometimes take a similar approach, but if I get knocked off one bet I'll double up on odds on the remaining two. Example, three bets working with $30 odds on each. Get knocked off one bet and go to $60 odds on the other two. If I get knocked off a second bet then I'll remove the odds from the third bet and just let it play out - then start over on the next shooter (down $100 on the previous one).

It is not an autobet script. I simply took Wincraps as it is..a random generating system. I opened it, gave it $400 and let it roll and made bets using tracking and charting. I assumed a random table. Now..a random program like Wincraps is not exactly the same as being at a real table with a random shooter. Even a randy may have some throwing rhythm or may set the dice and slightly influence the outcome. There is no influence in Wincraps. It is what it is. If you watch the video..I stop at times to re-evaluate letting rolls go by. I pay very close attention to 7s getting closer to the initial CO roll. If I see things like CO5, 9, 12, 7out followed by CO4, 8, 7out or a shooting situation where numbers decline to junk I will be on the don't side. However, you can get periods of positive action. If you get knocked off and Wincraps is producing 6s and 8s..and making points..you can switch sides or stop. Wincraps, unscripted, will always be a random shooter and therefore, IMO, the dark side will be dominant.

Thanks for sharing. I have gone to the darkside my last few trips. It has gone my way pretty quickly that I've forgotten to get out after I've gotten up and gave it back just as fast. Then hitting my loss limit as I try to win it back.

On a $5 table, I've been playing $10 DP with one $5 DC. Maybe I'll try the 3-point molly from don't next time.

Where are you finding $5 tables?

they are starting to show back up, Probably wont ever be the norm again but competition can cause strange things to happen. I think most thought we would never see them again.
I had some friends play $5 dollar table in Grant (Oklahoma) , another friend called me and said they had been running $5 dollar tables in Shreveport in the mornings. I even saw it a couple of days in Vegas.

There are still $5 tables at the Tribal Casinos (I play at The Clearwater & The Point Casino mostly) here in Washington State.

Emerald Queen Casino has 4 $10 tables
7Cedars has a $3 table
Red Winds has a $5 table
ilani has $10 tables.

Update to my last post...I played at the Muckleshoot Casino yesterday on their $10 tables. Unfortunately, I didn't play the darkside.

I also read recently that the Snoqualmie Casino recently upped their tables to $10.

The Little Creek Casino has a $5 table.
