Just curious:
Do you take a break from the table instead of just coloring up and leaving? When do you take a break?
A few times I have seen towels draped over the chips but not sure if the player taking a break was a DI.
I always go to the bathroom first and wash my hands and dry them thoroughly before I approach the table so I don't need to take
a bathroom break during my session.

Towels over chips, or some casinos have special sized perspex boxes, are a common occurrence. It can be for any player who is on a break.
I guess a lot depends on how long you are at the table for, how much you have had to drink (water as well as alcohol) and how much bladder control you have
Logically you don't want to be leaving a load of chips out there though even if they are covered up, especially in a busy market on say a weekend night. At least only leave low denom chips there. Some players will scoop everything up and just leave a dollar chip to save their space, telling dealer and/or box they will be right back.

Instead of taking a break I will color up after a good roll or after someone had a good roll and the next couple of rolls went South.
I don't think taking a break when I am getting paid nicely when staying will ever come to mind.
