I know this is limited information and it is not casino results but this is what i have to take into Vegas for a few days. The first is a hard ways set the second a 3v set that BT suggested would be better from the transpose tab.I use a underhanded toss and have pretty good results staying on Axis but the Double Pitches are still not great. the question is which set do you use? Does the hard ways set produce more profit if tossed on axis even though i keep the dice a shorter period of time? Or is it better to keep the dice and not worry about the prop wagers? Thanks for any on axis input.

Joe: Actually your question is a bit complicated or maybe just this answer is complicated. In order to know what set to use, one needs to know what bets you want to make. If for instance, a $32 across might work better with a V-2. A $22 inside, the V-3 might be better and if you are playing the field, probably a crossed six. You mentioned having double pitch issues. That could be your grip, your toss or even the table. However, if you are having short hands regardless of the set, it's a grip/toss issue that needs to be tuned up. This is where a load of practice comes in. You did not mention which grip you are using so that is not something I can address. Since you are going to LV so soon, you have to correct this yourself by observation during practice. Here are a couple of ideas. If you are using the three-finger front grip, it is probably your middle finger not centered on the seam, or possibly the depth of the fingers on the dice. Then, it could be the tension used in holding the dice.
You mentioned, "not worry about the prop wagers?" If you are betting the props consistently rather than randomly, that is a different ball game altogether. I know this is not a lot of help but it's the best I can do with the information you posted. sia
(Heavy usually handles this but he is zoned out right now having a long road trip and then personal business when he returned. I got a PM from him that he is completely wore out and bone tired. Maybe when he recovers he can add to this note)

I'd probably think in terms of limiting my prop action as that will eat up a bankroll when they're not hitting. With that said, you might consider shooting for the hardways but ONLY when you are the shooter and it's the Come Out roll. Once the point is established let's focus on repeating the point and tossing numbers. Oddly enough, I single pitch so much anymore that the V-2 had become my six and eight set and the V-3 my four and ten set. It is what it is - on any give day on any given table. And the next day - on the next table (or even the same one) it might not work at all. To that end, practice reading and interpreting roll results on the fly and adjusting on the fly if things aren't working.

The trip was a lot like an Eastwood movie, The Good The Bad and The Ugly, but i had 4 40+ minute rolls and 2 20+ minutes rolls. I also had 5 rolls of less than 5 rolls and another 4 rolls of less than 3. There were several rolls of between 8 and 10 so i was very inconsistent but ended the trip up 1.2k+ betting on myself ( had a good start getting up 400 on Christmas Day 3 hours after we arrived at the Aria) and really did not get down for the trip. By Wed i was up 1.4 k+ betting on myself and gave a little back on Thursday. Once i stopped betting on Randies and used SIAs strategy to work the table when there were grab and toss players my fluctuations were not as great. It was a wild wild trip.

I'll take inconsistent on any trip if I can manage 4 x 40 mins rolls. That's exactly the inconsistency I like :)

The thing you have to consider is. You are going to single pitch most of the time. So why set for both dice tokeep their position when it is going to be a very small part of your throws? Play the numbers that are going to come as you single pitch. On 3v it is outsides. On 2v it is insides. Thank me later.
