2 years in what i'm doing

Well after 2 years my confidence is up. I went from $5 minimum bets for hopefully winning $40 to $100 dollars to playing $66 inside with a $500 buy in. Working on the come out too. My rolls have been averaging 6-10 without a seven and sometimes , I'd say 1 in 10 rolls I hit 20 rolls without a seven. At any rate, after 6 hits I regress back to $22 inside. So I have $126 in my rack, plus $44 I take down. Then I go to collect and press. It's working out well, even though every now and then I point seven out. Guess there's no way around that. I hate missing on the 4 and 10, as I seem to throw 2 to 3 of them during my rolls. I may just go across and get it over with ! lol
Also , I've done 3v with success, but my success rate seems to be much better with the hardway set.
Take care and good luck everyone. And thank you Heavy for the help you gave me.

Hi Olddogcrapper

I like that you are consistent. IMO many players have a +Net strategy, however, they abandon it the first time they get whacked. Variance is our primary friend at the tables. Most 2-3 wager low HE approach will keep us near even until we see a little positive sway in our direction.

Thx for posting your strategy.
Continued success.

Hi Tgold
Back to the casino tomorrow. Thanks for your well wishes. Practice with the hardway set and it was meh ! Switched to 3v and threw a 49 roll hand. Looks like when one doesn't work the other does. That's the most I ever rolled. Highest before that was a 40 with the 2v. Started another hand just now and pt seven out twice. Then 16 rolls for a net $198. Before when I got whacked i'd just quit, but as you say variance is our friend !

Hi Heavy. Still learning though. Last lesson for me was don't let the attitude around the table affect you. Table was cold as alaska. I chickened out and played 22 inside and left with 55. Went back and same situation, I bet 66 inside and left with 160 ! As bone thrower says , the dice are in your hands. I still regressed according to plan, had I not regressed it would've have been a lot more. But I'm happy with results and around 100 a day pays my house note with extra to spare. Plus giving 60 of the 160 to my wife stops her complaining about me going to the casino everyday ! Next time after regression I'll try collect and press lol Hope you are doing well my friend.

Good Morning Olddogcrapper. Thx for updates.

Q: re: "... after 6 hits I regress back to $22 inside..."

So to confirm---regardless of # of rolls u keep initial wager size until 6th hit?

__________________________________________________________________________________

Im currently running tests on doing 568(or most hit inside three#s ). Im having success 30,30,30 with two full parlays and collect 3rd hit(less $5 or$6 press onto that #).
First hit: Full parlay press evenly on all three with residual onto the hit#,

Second Hit: Full parlay press onto the two hit#s with only $5 or $6 onto the nonhit#.

* On Second Hit: If same number has been hit twice I choose my Best# of remaining two#s and press it as noted above. After 3rd hit Ive racked my initial BaseUnit. The following hits (>=4th) I press an additive 20% onto only the most recently hit#(e.g., If 5 was pressed to 75 after the 3rd hit, from there on it would look like 75 +15,+30,+45= 75,90,120,165, to end.....etc).

My current testing is comparing the above with OptionB:
OptionB: a $30 on 568, same pressing as above except regress all on the 3rd hit (OR <=8 total rolls) and reduce to $24/25 on two most hit#s until end. Typically that 3rd hit(if achieved) seems to show on roll 7 or 8. So that seems to be a good stage for the regression.

So far the first option is performing better because that one 14-18 toss hand will often produce 6-8 hits on a the three inside#s with one dominant # getting 4ish hits. Obviously more volatility--thus--typically drawn down during majority of session until that longer hand shows. Still testing.

Tgold,is that only on your throws. ???? That would be a HUGE drawdown at my casinos,on most sessions. Three hits on the inside numbers is not a consistant theme. Way to many psos and ppsos for that approach to work on 99% of the rollers.at $90 per roller, the drawdown would be in the range of $1000 before you would get a roll of 20+. Many sessions,it would be in the range of 1500-1700 ,before a hand ,with 5-6 inside numbers in it was rolled, let alone 10-14 inside numbers.regressing after ,at most ,two hits,is the only way to survive ,most sessions.

Hi Seattlerick--glad your mexico trip went as planned.

Your Q: "...is that only on your throws. ????…"
Only on my hands, a teammates, and maybe one unknown local veteran that has a well-honed toss.

Most sessions we have several >=3hits on three inside #s within a commonly observed 7-10 toss hand. We generally have at least two hands per session that will be in the 15-22 toss range.
My logic on the above testing is that I know if we cover >=11ways to win that we are favored to get "A" hit within two rolls. So Im counting on getting three hits by roll eight. Obviously this does NOT occur many times so we must capitalize when it does. I guess that's the dilemma we all battle(when is perfect time to regress or press, yet still have larger wagers out there when the 20-toss hand does show.

The above testing on OptionB reduces the game to one issue: Will I get two hits or three hits by roll eight.
Its not surprising that 3rd hit often shows on roll 7,8,or9--Close to expectation. It stings when we get that 3rd hit on toss 9(just after regressing).

*On a recent 2-3 day trip our longest roll was 30, however, many hands 15-22ish(2-3 per session), with plenty 2-5 toss hands as well.
The most hits we received on our three inside #s was 13, and several hands produced exactly six or seven hits on our chosen three. Surprisingly the 30roll hand was only the fourth best hand for our wagers as it had a lot of co7s and crap#s. The thirteen-hit hand was only 19 tosses. One hand had eight 8s--surprisingly every single 8 paid as none were on comeout. As you know SeattleRick, from reviewing sessions, players often only receive maybe five or six payouts on an eight-8s hand.

Thx for posts/comments everyone.

Cheers,
