I can proudly say we didn't know the Oakland A's had a record-setting winning streak in 2003(?) until we watched the movie "Moneyball"... and we lived in the Silicon Valley and SF Bay Area from 1975-2004. The last time I watched any sport (college or pro) was the year Latrelle Sprewell choked out PJ Carlisimo. What was that, 1999? He was the last straw.

No mo' fellums fo' us. Sometimes my wife hears that her favorite 49ers are in the playoffs, but she goes to friend's houses to watch a Super Bowl; ain't no sports channels available on our Prime subscription (Tivo in the old days).

We've found a whole new block of free time (Sat/Sunday afternoons, etc) that we like a whole lot more than watchin' disenfranchised snivelers attempt athleticsm** with a ball. A shame too; I remember when JD Smith was my hero and Hewritt Dixon was "The Man". Their class is long gone.

** who the F "invented" the word, "athleticsm" ?-- Tom Landry. When stuck for a descriptor as a commentator, this clown ad-libbed 'athleticsm' as a descriptor of Howie Long's physical abilities; tongue-twisted and brain-strangled for the word, "jump", he also said that Howie's athleticsm allowed him to 'verticalize' 3 feet-something from a standing start in camp. Idiots bossin' felons; you can have'm. The best part of sports today is knowing Colin Kapridick is on a self-imposed hiatus even after his most recent "try out" session.

I have been using the William Hill app, they are running a promotion where if you deposit $50, they will give you another $50 as soon as you’ve bet $50 of bets. On my first try to sign up on line , I couldn’t get the app to work, so let it sit for a day while working on other things and a WH manager emailed me offering me $20 if I would finish signing up. I asked if I did could I get the $20 AND the $50 offer. He said yes and it all happened. Last week I hit all 8 of my layered teasers, so the account is growing nicely.

I have an iPhone and was going to do a similar offer with the BetMGM app, but the horrible reviews in the App Store Quashed that.

A note, the App only works in state so you would need a Texas app, provided Texas has sports betting legalized.

I missed Jamie’s post yesterday, as forgot NBA was starting, now with a holiday trip planned, I might not start on his NBA until next week, after getting up last year before the ‘rona hit.

Good luck, Jamie, keep posting, DN8R

Good morning,

My pick for today is 76ers -6.

So i called my bookie and played the 76ers.

76ers are a good team AGAINST a bad team, they should win this game by 8 points or more.

luck for all.

Greetings guys/gals,

It has happened again, a bad team has beaten a good team, my team has no reason losing this game by 22 points.

Just like a control dice shooter, their is no reason why he should roll a PSO over and over.

I am taking a look at my handicaping , to see what i am doing Wrong.

On monday dec 28 , i have the the lakers -4.5 over portland.

luck for all.

jaime.

Jamie,
Blame Covid as there has been a disturbance in the Force....

I had the same problem with the NFL, bet pizzas the first three weeks while I built the Covid altered rankings and data ; then started upping the ante...with much better predictability, DN8R

Ggeetings DarthNater,

The numbers are at a long time high, i knew this system is to good to be a losing system.

YESTERDAY the system was giving me Portland, but the line was to high - 10... for that reason the line would have been to high to play. they won by 18 points, but that line of 10 points would have made that game [ NO PLAY ].

Today the system, was giving me [ BOSTON ] - 5.5..... They won by 9 points.

Like i said before, am not Betting any of these games, i am getting ready for JAN 11 2021 ]

The system, has giving me [ 6 wins in a roll. ] i have 3 more days before i start betting for real again.

luck for all.
