Looking for a $25 Darkside Choppy Table Play

Post by everyday » Tue Jul 12, 2022 7:58 pm

On $25 tables I was thinking of trying the OHCM. $25 on dp and $24 6&8. If the dp is lost then doing Darthnaters version of the CTSL method. I’m not sure if on the second point I’d start at $25 or $40. Has anyone tried this or any version similar.

I appreciate any and all comments.

If it's a $25 table, you'll need to up that OHCM to $30 DP with $30 6 and 8. Last I checked, $24 < $25 :)

Yes..kind of. Set dice for 10s and 4s..or 5 and 9. $25 DP. Place the come out with $25. You can do that on 6 and 8 also..and get a $29 win (4 bucks) but it's real nice on the outside numbers because you not only can't lose..you will make more money if the number hits. So basically yr. playing a $25 table for zero money IF you get past the come out. Then you can place $75 inside assuming yr. CO is an inside number. Just a bit more than $66 in on a $15 table.

[This post got lost last night.... sorry for the delay]

Hi Everyday,
I've been stating the $25 DP on the first comeout. Yeah, I know MP waits for a point to start his CTSL, but for me the priority is setting up the OHCM, so first comeout for every shooter

If the $25 DP gets knocked off, I go to either $35 or $40 DP. In Biloxi, I was doing $30, as I was seeing a lot of 6s and 8s on the comeout; while the sheriff and deputy were raging. So on a warm table, it was $25, $30, $60. that way the $60 covers both the 6 & 8 place bets. Just realize that with the $60, you've already suffered two misses; hence its the Three Hits, Can't Miss. I still netted out positive most of the time as I only got to that third level a couple of times. Funny, at the third level it only lost once when some one made their point of Ten, so I laid the ten for $150 and the guy tossed another ten, first time I can recall that lay every getting whacked.

That was a bit of a tangent, usually the DP goes to an outside number, followed by a quick hit on the 6 or eight. I rack that first hit of $35. So it really is one hit, can't miss. That's on a choppy table. Plus, when it's choppy, my current go to play is to lay single odds on the DP until I get that first hit. My rationale is I'll see more PSOs than Bullfrogs; especially since the seven reigns on a choppy table - that way the 6 & 8 bets are both insured against a PSO. Yeah occasionally a Bullfrog will make it a no hit, two miss; but much, much more often the PSO makes it a no hit no miss.

On a warm trending table during the last Biloxi trip: on the second hit, I started doing one unit presses taking the hitting number to $36, then (on reflection) morphed it to a 2 unit press going from $30 to $42, so I could get $50 for $1 on the next hit. As cool as that sounds, when you don't get that third hit, you start re-assessing ; and getting a third hit on a choppy table is tougher than it sounds in real play.

There's more variations to chew on, DN8R
