Revealed by Bone Tracker Book of Dice Rolls

Setting and influencing the dice roll is just part of the picture. To beat the dice you have to know how to bet the dice. Whether you call it a "system," a "strategy," or just a way to play - this is the place to discuss it.

Revealed by Bone Tracker Book of Dice Rolls

Post by wild child » Wed Jul 20, 2022 10:43 am

Of late, I have been more dedicated to actively record BOOKS OF Rolls to analyze progress.
My toss station is set up in a discarded cardboard box that once held an upright freezer.

While very primitive,
it allows preparation for the specific casino craps pits,
most often encountered by me.
An advantage of recording books of tosses is further observing patterns that
evolve as an added bonus to the facial information demonstrated.

While engaged in live casino sessions,
a number of patterns specific to my dice tossing
have become more evident.

One that jumps out is specifically when I toss a HORN NUMBER, I frequently
toss a second and often a third HORN NUMBER.

Also observed is I often toss back-to-back HARD WAY NUMBERS.

On those occasions when I "HOMESTEAD" on a table
the patterns of other players also seem to jump out
now far more so than in the past.

Have other members also become aware of the same?

Again a BIG THANK YOU to the personas involved in updating Bone Tracker
from the great tool we knew
to the sophistication of recent times.

Respectfully
w c

Funny, Nate and Inhave been discussing adding some more metrics around repeating sequences and streaks, particularly centered around horn and field numbers.

It's anecdotal, I've never went back and reviewed the books to confirm it, but I feel like I do the same thing if my form is good. I've always assumed this is something the "pros" do "all the time."

For me, it's really any number. But I feel like I "often" roll back-to-back numbers... sometimes the same left-right combo. It tells me my mechanics are repeating. But I don't think it happens often enough to bet it somehow, other than what I normally would do.

WC emailed me the above question and I suggested he post it.

We have seen this "mini-trend" or tendency many times and have given it several names, like: clusters or " see a ____, bet a _____". That could be fives, horns, fields, sixes..... just fill in the blanks

IMHO its especially prevalent wrt Field bets. As I've mentioned in several trip reports, I've been using a field progression on select players, especially those who use crossed sixes, like Bankerdude. He tosses many fields, which winnings I use to populate and press bets on box numbers. I also do a similar strategy when using a couple of my horn sets.

It's gotten to the point where I'm manually tracking my clusters in the Roll Data Tab of BoneTracker, as I think 220I is also. I'd add it to the macros and let BT do it, but I've kinda said no more coding until we release the Beta with Face Matching. For progressions, its also important to track the droughts between {fill in the blank} and know my secondary results. For instance on my 2/3 dominant set a high secondary result is the five, which can be a complication when I'm field progressing with that set. Sometimes, its my point, so I pay it no matter, other times, I'll hop the 5 or bet it with the six and 8.

In Biloxi, I was playing a variant of the choppy table short leash as a field progression, on $15 tables: $15, $20, $45; or on $25s: $25, $30, $60 or $70. Once at the Hard Rock, I actually took it to the 5th level: $15,$20,$40, $80, $175 where I hit a nine; otherwise, I've kept it at third level, pretty much because it hits by then. I stayed with the same set after comeout, as in this case the transposed number of field hits for that set is 395, well above the 320 random target for 720 tosses; which also has a 2 & 12 combined of 63 per 720 tosses, that's 8.75% or 8-3/4s out of 100; better than 2 out of 36 (5.55%). Staying with the same horn set for the first 6-10 tosses is giving me more chances at the ATS as well, such that in a few cases, I'm actually switching to a Best 6 & 8 set or best Inside Set to snipe an ATS side. Getting those "tougher" numbers out of the way early, never hurts.

During the Hot Summer Dice seminar last week, I added a twist: Once the progression hits,
I turn it into a Positive Progression doing: $15, $20 {get the hit on it here}, then press to $25 with some of the winnings (while placing the rest of the hit on select box numbers. Then its up a nickel after each next hit & collect. There's a few more variations, but the bottom line is if you're dealing with a level of skill that has some influence and the right set, then you might as well bet it, DN8R
Your lack of faith in The Force disturbs me, Commander.......

Field wager opportunities may present when observing a string of Not A Field results
followed by
a "Mini Streak" of Field numbers......
Frequently 3 to 5 Not-A-Field followed by TWO or Three Field Numbers.
Not necessarily EVERY SEQUENCE===>the HOWEVER FACTOR<=== FREQUENTLY ENOUGH TO TAKE NOTICE. (i m h o)

Just for grins when a string of N-A-F shows and is punctuated by a =>F N<=
OBSERVE the frequency of a SECOND Field followed by a THIRD F N <=

Our books of rolls are hard copies available for "postmortem" highlighting results.
Simple charting of another shooter's HAND could correlate intel worthy of placing a Field Wager or NOT Doing So.

just me saying
