Heavy's 75th Birthday Bash and Diamond Jubilee in Las Vegas - September 6th - 8th, 2024

Okay, the headline pretty much says it all. Although if you previously marked the dates on your calendar you may want to recheck it, because I posted the wrong dates originally. Yeah, I think I got on the October calendar instead of the September one. Anyway, the big Birthday Bash is just around the corner and it's time to start making plans. I've talked about this a bit on Facebook but no so much over here. I just want you guys and gals don't miss out, because I'm hoping to see as many of you as possible - particularly you old times from back in the Crapsfest days - one more time while I'm still walking this earth. So, do your best to make it out if you can I promise a good time for all.

We're not going to do a traditional class this weekend. For those of you who were around back in the day when we did Crapsfest Weekends in the early to mid 2000's - we're going to structure the weekend somewhat like that. We'll have a central hotel where I'd like the majority of you to stay if possible. I'm working with a host who believes he can get most of you comped or get a good casino rate if you'll come in as a group. This will be an off-strip casino property, but not far off strip. We'll find lower table minimums over the weekend, and the casino will give us private tables on Saturday and Sunday. The idea is to get as many of us together as possible and to play there and around town for as many sessions as you want.

I'll also gather a few of my coaches together to help out at the weekend. We'll likely be running break-out sessions on some or all of the following subjects:

* Basic BoneTracker
* Advanced Right Side Betting Strategies
* The Don'ts for Right Side Players - Learning the Other 50 per cent of the Game.
* Straddle/Hybrid Betting and Transition Moves from the Right Side to the Dark Side and Back Again
* Creative Visualization, Guided Imagery, and the Crap Between Your Ears - Learning How to Put Yourself in the Zone

We'll also have the dealer school open all day on Saturday and half of the day on Sunday, running three-on-one toss tune up sessions that will run 90 minutes each with three students and one coach per session. We'll have two tables running simultaneously, which means we can work with six players at a time. After each "team" of six players gets their toss tune up, we'll encourage them to hit our host casino's private table to play a live session together while their tune up sessions are fresh on their minds. Running two sessions before lunch and two after lunch on Saturday, and two before lunch on Sunday, we should be able to complete tune-ups on a total of 36 players over the course of the weekend.

Given time and resources, we'll also run a special session at the dealer school on Shooting from Straight Out, led by one of the top End Shooters in the country. Details to be announced closer to the date once everything is confirmed.

We'll have details up in the next week or so for hotel registration at the host hotel. If you are not already rated with this casino's player's club my host can take a look at your ATD with your best rated players cards and likely get you comped at this property as well. If you simply prefer to stay at your usual "corporate" casino hotel on the strip, we'll request that you still contact my host and have him book your room for you as a third party host. Odds are he will be able to improve any offers you have from your corporate casino - either by extending the number of days of your stay, upgrading your room, or perhaps picking up other amenities as well. If you don't ask - you don't get. But your corporate host is not going to get, so they don't typically ask for anything over and above what your existing point balance will cover. Use my guy and we all win.

That about wraps it up for now. If you have any questions just let me know. I'll do my best to answer.

Best,

h
