Re: Double regression along with pressing and come out lays.
I don't think I'm smart enough to comprehend all that. Lol. Seems very complicated. I do like the 14 hand rolls happening like its no big deal though 😉 Most sessions, if I get the dice 10 times; 2 of them will be 20 roll hands (that includes every roll, come out and seven out) and a few in the 10-1...

Re: CARRYING CASH
JSX may be a good solution for flying with cash, it's like a semi-private plane (more people but almost no hoops to jump through at the airport.) Also, pretty cheap.

Double regression along with pressing and come out lays.
Last time I played craps often, my regression strategy worked well through the year. At that time, it was $5 minimum and I went $44 inside then regressed to $16/17/22 depending on the point and collected 3 hits before pressing. Covid closures and mandates kept me out of the casino, I was healthy as ...

Re: This is my strategy and I'm sticking to it
This strategy just for when I am rolling. For betting this way only on yourself, how many initial inside wagers is a proper session bankroll and how many session bankrolls for a total bankroll. I work with a similar number, $220 down to $66, collect a few and then press aggressively; the main diffe...

Re: 7's can't hurt if you can avoid the 10 (or 4)
For a random roller, avoiding the 10 for one roll isn't too hard; but it stings when you lose (doesn't it always.) This is the same reason for regression, randomly you should win 75% of the time if you only need 1 inside number (18 ways to roll an inside number, 6 ways to roll a 7) and a skilled sho...

Re: What to do with those "even money" free bet papers?
Good craps use of this coupon: - Pass Line/Come Best choice of listed options in my book, especially if the coupon allows more odds be placed. - Don't Pass/DC The Wizard said that using it as laying odds on DP/DC is the best use as long as it satisfies the 'even money rule' but may require a couple ...

Re: What size increase in bankroll is needed to add a lay bet on each comeout roll?
DarthNater, good post. It's tough to quantify the advantage for the purpose of Kelly criterion. I based the initial bankroll on an edge greater than 1%, each time I raise the initial bet; I'll add 10% more units to the bankroll. Example: To increase my bet to $132, I have to have 110 units for $1452...

Re: What size increase in bankroll is needed to add a lay bet on each comeout roll?
Nope, I would have made money at it with enough capital to make a video a week and cover production while waiting to get paid by distributors; I was always spinning my wheels trying to make it in that field. I produced 6 videos that made money, but only enough to cover the one movie I was in which n...

Re: What size increase in bankroll is needed to add a lay bet on each comeout roll?
Heavy, I stand corrected; I was basing my statement on top poker players investors, noting that the bottom they basically want all of the return for the percentage the cover. I was just explaining why I had no interest in seeking investors, I wish I had investors 17 years ago when I started an adult...

Re: What size increase in bankroll is needed to add a lay bet on each comeout roll?
Thnick, years ago I tried going to my former employer (used to run a hedge fund, now promotes penny stocks to brokers) and discussed investing in card counting. His former partner might have gone for it, since he was a gambler and $25k was his typical gamble; but he was in "the country club&quo...

Re: What size increase in bankroll is needed to add a lay bet on each comeout roll?
22Inside, I'd gladly train a team; I've seen 2 others that were above my level (1 I only saw once, he was broke; hadn't figured out betting yet. The other was very old and quit playing for health reasons, but he seemed to have lost his touch; he went from super long rolls to only making 1 number.) I...

Re: What size increase in bankroll is needed to add a lay bet on each comeout roll?
I did specify 'on a good day' and specified that I didn't use the hardway set; so I might have been made an error (hard to tell which dice had the number, but I did void of I got tow 6's and only one 6 was on the axis. Most sessions with 10 times with the dice have several rolls in the teens, 1-2 in...

Re: What size increase in bankroll is needed to add a lay bet on each comeout roll?
Darthnater, the 7/11 set avoids 5/9 and it is an all 7 set. The only downside to the set is it doesn't makes all of the craps numbers. I've thought about laying across, but it's a high loss frequency. I wouldn't lay 4 and 10 because the loss frequency is higher than I'd want. With 5 and 9, it should...

What size increase in bankroll is needed to add a lay bet on each comeout roll?
If one were comfortable betting $110 inside and regressing after 1 number to inside minus the point for $32-44, on a $11k bankroll; what kind of increase would they need to have the same risk level adding a lay bet on the come out roll only? For low loss frequency, laying the 4 for $76+1 should yiel...

Re: What's your favorite money management move?
I like a large inside bet ($44 is the minimum here), 1 hit and regress to an amount around what was won ($16 inside minus the point is the minimum on a $14 win) on that hit; then various ways (depending on bankroll and how well you're shooting) to press up to 10x initial bet in total winnings for th...

Re: How do YOU play the hardways?
I like to bet $6 on a hard 6, if it hits; I collect $50 and press the hard 6 to $10. I have played with the idea of $1 hard 6 and $6 place the 6, if it comes easy I spread to the 8 and put the $1 hardway back up; if it comes hard I spread to $22 inside. If I were on a hot streak, I might bet $25 ins...

Re: How to emulate the fire bet with odds? How would the Sharpshooter side bet be emulated?
Crap out (crap number on come out roll) takes away the pass line wager, but the shooter retains the dice and other bets are still up. By fair odds, I was referring to putting money on the odds bet and how there is no house edge on that. The only way to emulate the Sharpshooter sidebet that I can thi...

How to emulate the fire bet with odds? How would the Sharpshooter side bet be emulated?
If you made 6 points in order, $1 turns into about $330 with fair odds. They assume it won't come in order in the fire bet; though, you'd either have to bet a lot on the pass line or get 100x odds to go as high as they do. Since it's odds, there is no risk of crap out, you can bet a lot even with a ...
