Re: How to Color Up at a Craps Game
A long time ago I learned to pre-count my color to even 100's. 6 times over 25 years of play I've been short-colored by $100. Fortunately I caught each one of those errors. The most recent was just a few weeks ago. I was a retailer for 55 years so I know money-handlers can make mistakes. However, in...

Re: Betting the Donts
My win goal is $100 per session. But judgement applies.....I don't always stop at that point. Sunday at Hollywood the table was flowing my way so I stayed around awhile. Same was true at Ameristar. Conversely, I will end a winning session well before a $100 win if the tide seems to be turning. 6doll...

My similar strategy: $10 DC. If it travels then single odds. If lost with odds, progress to $15 DC If it travels then single odds. If lost with odds, progress to $20 DC If it travels then single odds. One loss per shooter. Any loss wait for next shooter. When a naked bet lost to 7 or 11, stay at sa...

Re: Betting the Donts
Bassdice -- If my DC's with odds are knocked off by three separate shooters, I'm done. By that time I'm down more than $100. Chalk up a bad session. I move on to another table or more often, to another casino. Over the years I've tried starting over, tried changing to right side, tried chasing. None...

no electronic bacc games in St Louis where I play.
But I've been enjoying EZBacc as my sitdown game as I mature.
Like all casino games, it's tough to come out winners.

Re: Arrival To The Darkside Announcement
Over a couple of decades of play I've migrated from mostly rightside play to mostly Don't Pass. Sometimes Don't Come. I became a committed follower of Dylanfreak methods a few years back: one loss only per shooter and lots of patience. I occasionally get a wild hair and jump on the rightside, but th...

Re: 7 Heavy System
I'm a confirmed negative progression guy. And most of the time I'm on the Don't or DC. I played some sessions with Tonfau in Tunica a few years ago and really liked the 7 Heavy. Used it in St Louis a few times and won until.....as you would expect, one hot hand killed me. Not so bad in and of itself...

Hi Dylanfreake
Knowing your careful management of funds, I project that you'll have plenty of buy-ins to last 25 years.
At that time you'll be 95, and I'll be 97.
I'll come join you if I still have the strength to belly up to the table.
Good luck to both of us.

Re: Heavy's Wrong Way Craps
I don't always bet the don'ts, but when I do, I follow Dylanfreak's policy of one loss per shooter.
A nice relaxed way to play, and often a winning strategy.

Re: Heavy's Bookend Play
Thanks for the memories Operator. I always studied Arnie's posts. He had hundreds of systems it seemed. I ran Big Kahnman's Army March only one time and got it to the last step and sevened out. PointSevenOut gave me a tip on gripping the dice several years ago that I use to this day. If I ever saw a...

Re: Saw this strategy on Youtube
Shootitall Last week I actually did, what you had thought about doing. Similar scenario as yours: Guy had already hit 6 tens and 4 fours. I figured he was about done. I bet a DC and it went to the four. I laid $500 that he couldn't hit the 6th four. I lost. Notes to self: 1) Anything can happen at a...

Re: The concept of "Stupid Money"
I bet flat passline only. No odds.
Or flat don't pass. No odds.
Most craps experts at the tables I play on think that I'm using stupid money.
Or possibly they're thinking my money's OK, it's me that's stupid.

~With only one 8-player/10 shooters-per-hour game in action; you could expect to see one 50-rolls ('good' 7's included) hand about once every 180 hours. Thanks MP for your calculated expectations for long hands. My experience is not documented with contemporaneous notes, but just my aging memory an...

I was at Harrahs St Louis for a very short time Sunday, stopped on my way to Ameristar. Tables were for sure cold.
Next time you plan a trip to St Louis, let me know, and I'll buy lunch.

Re: What's the deal with "our guys" and low limit games?
Easy answer for me.
For me to get an instant PSO.......bet $220 inside.
To get repeaters......min. passline no odds, and two min. come bets no odds.
Absolutely certain to bring a hot hand.
The dice know when I'm risking 22% of my buy-in,
and when I'm only risking 1.5% of my buy-in.

Saw the ALL SMALL hit yesterday at Lumiere.
Went to River City and saw the ALL TALL hit.
Immediately, the ALL bets became highly populated.
