Re: THE DARK SIDE...

I enjoy playing the dark-side [Heavy's richochet - increasing lay odds on remaining bets when one gets knocked off], but it is tougher in a real casino. About the time that the table goes cold and I start winning, then all the right-side bettors quickly leave the table. Finally, as the last to leave...

Live table vs. Simulation

My problem playing the "don'ts" on live craps tables is that when the table turns cold and good .... then the rightside players all leave and I'm left alone at the table. And that turns the table back to "choppy" really quick.

Re: Are there markers that indicate a hot hand in progress?

When one or more of the actual or imaginary DC traveled bets start losing - i.e. repeating box numbers after the point has been established.

Re: Betting the Donts

I'm primarily a DON'T player. Normal play is to bypass the come-out roll and make a small DC bet followed with odds. However, if the established point is a 6 or 8, then I just put a place bet on the point. If I see a trend of PSO or come-out naturals, then I lay the 5 or 9 (not the established point...

Re: Imagine for a moment . . .

The T-Bones I've seen all play the same (field bets). Put half of it ($10) on the field; press a win; after 2 wins or loss - revert back to original bet. When chip stack reaches ($80), increase original field bet to $20, and start betting on some hardways.

Re: Let's develop a useable negative progression for the don't

1. What are the killers of all don't systems? Two killers: a) repeating Come Out 7/11; b) getting most or all of your DP/DC bets knocked off one-by-one on a long roll shooter before a 7-out. 2. What are best practices to prevent a single hand or back to back hands from making your negative progressi...

Re: How Can You Tell if a Long Hand is in Progress?

When my first DC bet has been knocked off, it's the first sign that a long hand has a good possibility and to start making some place bets. Keep track of the next number thrown after a point has been established. If that "next number" repeats, it's a good sign for those right-side players.

Re: Streak.

I'm a dark-sider also (mostly one DC with odds). However, I temporarily switch to the passline after a comeout 7 that wasn't preceded by a craps number. After a passline number decision (win or lose), I go back to my darkside play. When I encounter a PSO, I play comeout doey-don't and lay odds.

Re: New User

My advice is to obtain several small winning sessions, instead of trying to score big wins on a single session. Set a relatively modest session win limit, then quit each session while you're ahead and close to, or over, your win limit. When you finish each session, let some time (an hour or more) pa...

Re: Casinos with low/zero vig on place bets

Are there any Downtown Vegas casinos that don't charge a lay bet vig upfront and only charge the vig on a win? If so, I need to utilize such a strategy when I start to see a trend of PSO.

Re: What's your grinding strategy

After a 7-out hand, don't bet on the come-out roll. If the point is a 4, 5, 9, or 10, then bet $10 on the DC. When it travels, wait for decision. If the point established is a 6 or 8, place bet that point for 2 rolls. After 2 rolls remove place bet, bet doey-don't (come and DC), and when that travel...

Re: 5 vs 9 betting leverage

I play the Dont's (but not on the come-out). Whenever I see a come-out 7 or come-out craps, my next bet is $21 no-nine and $10 field (for one roll).

Re: I need a good strategy for betting the Dont's

My favorite hybrid Don't strategy, never betting on the DP. Normally won't bet on the come out roll, unless the previous come out was a 7, 11, or craps. In that case, on the next come out, I lay $21 against the 9, and put $10 on the field. If the point established is a 6 or 8, then I place either $6...

Re: switching between PL and DP

I do it all the time. I usually don't bet on the come-out roll until a point is established. If the point is a 6 or 8, then I make place bets. If the point is a 4,5,9, or 10, then I make a DC bet. If a come-out is a 7, then I go to PL. If the come-out is 11, I bet on field and PL. If there is a PSO,...

Re: dont pass-worth it or not?

When I play the don'ts, I wait until the roller establishes the point, then I bet the DC. Then I'm never betting against the shooter and most of the other players at the table. I'm playing my own game.

Re: Spin-Off Systems and Why We Play

In downtown Vegas, there are several casinos next to each other. So I set a modest win limit for a session. When that win limit is reached, I continue playing for more profit until the first sign that the table is no longer in "synch" with my mode of play. Then I quit that table (with prof...

Re: The Doey-Don't and the Patrick System

When I play the doey-don't, if the point established is a 4 or 10, then I place odds on the point. If the point established is a 6 or 8, then I either choose to place odds or lay odds depending how the table has been hitting on the 6/8. If the point established is a 5 or 9, then I lay odds and make ...
