Re: What would you do with $100 slot freeplay?

If it were me, I would first try to do single zero video roulette and bet 1/37th on zero, 18/37ths on red, and 18/37ths on black and cash out and go to the craps table. If they don't allow this type of Tom-foolery, I would next suggest grinding video poker after doing some training on a video poker ...

spiker, I understand why any person can say that. Until you personally have seen DI in action, it is very easy to be skeptical and dismissive of it. This sort of thinking is interesting. The last impressive win that I saw was this one: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10201725703757323&l...

Re: Forget house edge

Genius. Listen up folks: advantage play craps, EVEN IF IT EXISTS AT ALL, is boring. If you want to know if something is an advantage play or not, I would suggest to you that it pass the "is it boring" test. If it doesn't sound boring, it's probably not advantage play. I developed a difficu...

Re: Strategy Challenge - can you make $ off our rolls?

I find the discussion that it is not worth it to write down both numbers to be very entertaining. You will certainly have shots where you don't know which die is which. No argument there. Everything else is just a challenge as to how close to 100% you can tell the left from the right. Some people mi...

Re: Strategy Challenge - can you make $ off our rolls?

I should also point out that if you are only recording the sum of the two dice, you are missing a whole lot of information. You need to record both dice, and each die (left right independently) for best results if you want to figure out what sets you should be using to come up with a good strategy t...

Re: The Iron Cross - maybe it doesn't work so well.

You can win playing the horn in the short run. Strategies don't make any difference from one another for a single visit, in general. Strategies should be evaluated for the usefulness to a controlled shooter by using the edge per roll to figure out the cost for a random shooter, then decide if your s...

Re: Strategy Challenge - can you make $ off our rolls?

There is a winning bet for every roll. Knowing in advance makes winning from rolls very simple. I'm not really sure the question; maybe it's "does your betting strategy fit this sequence of rolls?" maybe. Generally speaking, a little less than half of ALL betting strategies will.

Re: The Iron Cross - maybe it doesn't work so well.

Good Morning Mycoalsmith. First let me say that the only bet I used to make when I used to gamble on craps was the iron cross. Don't gamble any more due to my bad health, bad eyesight. The iron cross is the only way you can make $300 to $400 dollars in an hour or less. Have to stop- can not keep my...

Re: $300 in comp chips, flat bets only--how would you bet th

This is a simple question. It's a two step process to bet a free bet chip any way you like. $XXX free bet on the pass line $XXX/2 real chips on the don't pass line optional: $XXX/62 bet on the twelve hopping This will resolve to your winning $XXX/2 or $XXX/2 - $XXX/62 in real chips that you can bet ...

Re: The Iron Cross - maybe it doesn't work so well.

If you do want to get paid on every roll, let me recommend that you bet: $25 four, $5 five, $5 field, $30 six, $30 eight $25 ten. Forget the edge, but the cost per roll is 0.33% * $50 = $0.16 1.11% * $5 = $0.0555 2.78% * $5 = $0.139 0.46% * $60 = $0.24 ============== cost per roll is $0.5945 -- same...

Re: The Iron Cross - maybe it doesn't work so well.

It would work great if the edge per roll were 0.20% or lower. As it is, it's not just the field, but the five edge that kills ya. The best strategies that work really well is not just to simply avoid 6 outcomes (the seven) but to also hit a particular box number more frequently than the rest. IE: pl...

Re: When do you back down?

Here's an idea: what about a betting system that takes the sum of the two dice and multiplies it by your betting unit (EG: $5) and bet that amount on the pass line or come bet if the previous roll was odd, or the don't pass or don't come if the previous roll was even? So your bet amounts would be be...

Re: When do you back down?

Just to ensure that my point is clear, if you're going to use MP204 (IE: walk up to the table and put out $204 on the felt) .. you should never decrease your bet amounts. That, in a nutshell, is the gamble of that scheme. All the gamble is packed into the front-end. I'm not sure what the next move i...

Re: When do you back down?

My opinion is that if you are attempting to advantage play, you want to get the most number of rolls in as possible to have the best chance to win. Also, I generally believe that having a consistent amount of money on the felt is important as when you increase or decrease the amount of money on the ...

Re: Laying all numbers on come out

You could think about having 24 targets you're trying to "miss" and 6 targets you're trying to "hit." If you are using an all-seven set, the sevens would normally be your hardways and the hi-lo. In terms of your throw, you want the same throw that would hit more pairs on a hardwa...

Re: Laying all numbers on come out

To get a good edge, you need to win $20 per number. $40 + $30 + $24 + $24 + $30 + $40 = $188 Most casinos in Las Vegas (with the exception of Fiesta Henderson) charge commission up front. So add $1 per number laid, and you have $188 + $6 = $194. The most you could lose in a single roll is $41. You w...

Re: Looking for 7's on the comeout?

I've had good success with shooting for sevens. I generally aim for sevens until I have two or three line/come bets assigned to points and I increase my final come bet. $5 pass, point 4, $5 pass (try to roll a seven) roll a ten, $10 come (try to roll a seven) - maybe some other box number .. THEN I ...
