Re: consistent income???
I'm pretty sure chucking dice would be a much better career than what I currently do. Unless you guys are professional sportsmen, I could almost safely assume the same would go for you. It would be a dream to make a living off of a fun hobby. When a fun hobby turns into a job it will soon cease to ...

Re: What's your grinding strategy
After a 7-out hand, don't bet on the come-out roll. If the point is a 4, 5, 9, or 10, then bet $10 on the DC. When it travels, wait for decision. If the point established is a 6 or 8, place bet that point for 2 rolls. After 2 rolls remove place bet, bet doey-don't (come and DC), and when that trave...

Re: What's your grinding strategy
I use a John Patrick strategy...Place a $5 DP...After point is established, lay single odds against the point and place a $5 DC...When the DC point is established , pickup your odds and wait for a decision...Sometimes I will place a second DC...

Re: Year End Report
No need to report those losses - although losses can be used to offset any winnings you have have had - but only up to the extent of the winnings. I sat down with my CPA recently and discussed whether or not I could deduct gaming losses on seminar weekends - since playing in the casino with student...

Re: Three Card Poker
Games like Three Card Poker and Let it Ride are essentially "carnival" games that have found their way into the casinos. When Three Card Poker was first introduced back in the 90's the odds were fairly decent - the house edge was something like 2.3%. Once the bean counters got hold of the...

Re: Sam Grafstein's Blackjack strategy - end of "DiceDoctor"
Thanks for the details heavy, sounds like a good system to me! I'll definitely keep it in mind. I like playing some BJ from time to time and might as well have a serious game plan, but I'm not looking to win a whole ton of money, so a low heat strategy is necessary. My initial searches for a paroli...

Re: Playing the Dark Side?
That is actually "Dave's System" :) If you are talking about DC with odds on the 5, 6, 8, 9 and no odds on the 4 and 10...I got this play from a long time professional card counter...Where he got it I don't know... No problem. I didn't mean to come off as calling you a thief or anything, ...

I have always been a non-conformist so playing the dark side seems natural to me... Thank you for the reply...Cheers...realtime wrote:bushido,
Playing on the dark side is still a neg ex game if you are betting on random rollers. No better than playing the right side in the long run.
