Re: Looking to Cowtip...
I still think the best way to approach the Dont , if you have a big enough bankroll is to make a DP wager and lay the max odds. The 7 and 11 on the comeout are killers for the darkside player. I guess that now that my bankroll has grown that I should pursue the laying of odds with more viger and vit...

Re: Looking to Cowtip...
Al, I think a few years ago on the old axispower board that I won about 57% of the time and my average win was a little less than one beginning wager. I think when you go to a casino that you must use consistency in the way you play and use the realistic approach to try and break even. The positive ...

Re: Looking to Cowtip...
You can wait to play after a point is made. The math of the game cycles around no matter where your starting point is. Cowtippin` is nothing new. I just used it to extend time, with my small bankroll at the table, and got lucky and won a few dollars. The main thing is that I do not chase any numbers...

Re: Looking to Cowtip...
I cowtip any win if I am behind in a series. Example : Bet $5 win $5 Bet $5 win $5 Bet $5 lose $5 (now I am behind $5 for the series ) Next bet $10 win $10 (now I am ahead $5, so I go back to the $5 bet) Now if I had lost the $5 bet and then the $10 bet, making me $15 behind , then the next bet woul...

Re: Looking to Cowtip...
Gail booked a couple of Southwest Airlines cheap tickets --$200 each round trip out of Little Rock and it was a direct flight. All the rooms were comped and the meals were either comped by the casino, mail coupons, or using Gail`s comps. The only cash we spent was about $40 on cabs to and from the a...

Re: Looking to Cowtip...
al, I have Cowtipped by increasing bets $1 at a time . That is the way I started out and as my bankroll grew , I would increase the wagers a little more. When I started gambling in August of 2000, my thoughts were that I would lose my $100 and never go back into a casino. I just didn`t care to gambl...

COWTIPPIN` On a $5 table with a $4375 Gambling Bankroll, buying in for $175 , which is what you are willing to risk during this craps session, you can use the following negative Cowtippin` progression (which I call a "negression"). I always make a Don`t Pass wager and limit my wagering to ...

Re: Decreasing the "Don't Pass" bet
Casinos love it when you reduce or pick up a Dont Wager after a number is established. In Tunica , you can reduce a Dont wager as many times as you want . I saw a player go off on a boxman in Tunica one time when a stupid Dont player picked up his Dont Pass wager. A player that had a Pass Line wager...

Re: Much easier to get higher tier points at Ceasars!!!
I don`t have to worry about getting 500 points in a day . My current $45 DP would only receive 54 points per hour . I don`t think I have ever played 9 or 10 hours of craps a day.

Re: Much easier to get higher tier points at Ceasars!!!
$2500 run through a slot machine would get you 500 tier credits .
$5000 run through a video poker machine would get you 500 tier credits.
Both of the above are for Caesars Entertainment properties.

Re: Much easier to get higher tier points at Ceasars!!!
dblayout, At CET properties , I average getting 6 points per $5 wager. I only bet the Dont Pass , one loss per shooter , which means there are a lot of times that I do not have a wager on the felt. I only play around 200 hours a year so my possibilities of reaching a higher tier is almost impossible...

2012 Year End Stats
The year 2012 ended very well for me. I even ran into Laguna Flats at the craps table on Dec 31 at Sams Town and was hoping to run into him and FreddieB at the Sams Town dinner but could not find them since there were probably a thousand people in the room. On Dec 30 and 31 , I ended the year playin...

I keep my bankroll intact, never spending anything out of it . I guess I should call it entertainment money . It is only used for play at the craps table and sometimes a little dabble in video poker (and I do mean a little dabble). Gail gets pissed off when I hit four of a kinds and Royal flushes pl...

Re: What is your "Best Bet"?
I`ve got journals going back to High School. There are boxes and boxes of notebooks. Some pages are so brittle , they crumble.
I told a co-worker years ago that my life was like a bunch of notebooks. A lot of memories , some that I must get rid of.

Re: What is your "Best Bet"?
MP, I`ll have to do some digging. I have gambling journals going back to August of 2000 when I made my first wager in a casino at a $5 Blackjack table at the Grand in Tunica. I think I can come up with all of them. Most are packed in boxes somewhere . I have exercise journals, journals on auctions w...

Re: What is your "Best Bet"?
Currently , since my gambling bankroll is between $9000 and $10,500, a $40 DP .
Should my bankroll slip below $9,000, a $35 DP.
When my bankroll rises above $10,500, a $45 DP.
I guess my favorite, best bet is a "watching the paint dry", DP----somebody`s gotta do it.

Re: Tier Point question
Years ago before Harrahs , now CET , became computerized a pit critter was explaining to a come bettor that his come bet was being rated but his odds were not rated because the casino had no edge on the odds wager. I was thinking , "So what? the odds bet lost just the same as the come bet after...

Re: Tier Point question
I play only a naked DP wager on the craps tables and so far this year at CET properties , I have received 8 tier credits per hour for each $5 unit that I have wagered. Example: Playing for one hour making a DP wager of $25 , I will receive 40 tier credits for that hour of play. Also I get 40 cents i...
