been away due to health reasons, and just thought i'd drop in, saw this question and this is what i experienced at the cal a few years ago. they would charge the vig up front making it 5 % or so depending on the amount, and also agree with heavys 1,2 and 3.

thnks all for your replies and advice. at even money cant even compare to the field bet. sorry for the waste of time, but whenever i hear of a new bet i like to check it out and hope for a casino glitch in their haste to compete with other casinos.

yep, the key is the payoffs.

does anyone know the payoff on the venetian's new over under bet? a friend just informed me about it though he didnt know if the payoff was even money. has anyone devised a betting scheme using it?
appreciate any feedback on this. he also informed me the tables are short and low fwiw.

sounds reasonable irish, fwiw here is my neg prog on the donts:
5 10 15 25 40 65 105 170
go up one on loss, win go back one step
two wins in a row go back to 5
any win lose win go back 3 steps, if win again go back to 5
rarely lose entire stake of 435. (but it does happen)
this is a slow grind.

tier one, if lose 5,5,10,25 and then Win35, do we go back to 5? we are now down 10 trying to win 5 bucks at a time. do i have it correct?

thanks a lot fellow di's. i was just thinking that it would be a cheap way to toke the dealers everytime the buy 5/9 hits just throw the vig differential on a two way hard way and everyone should be happy even with the extra mental gymnastics.

Can someone explain why more people dont buy the 5 and 9 when betting more than $40 and casino collects vig on winning bets only? the math bears out the advantage unless my math is off. Not entire impossible!

I dont recall seeing anyone buying anything except the 4 n 10.

if you have a pass line bet on a 25 dollar table, can you place odds for less than $25 since it is essentially part of the same bet?
