Re: Roulette - Heavy's Sit-Down Game of Choice
They have a European single zero table in the Cromwell now for $25 minimum + a stack of other "better than normal strip" games: 3/2 BJ, 25c full pay VP and of course their well documented 100x odds craps game.

Re: Betting the Donts
Slow grind way to go and be careful not to chase too far when somebody dies catch a hand which will eventually happen. Not many tables have Firebet now if you are looking to use that as some kind of pseudo- hedge

Re: Charting Players and Tables for Trends
SR, no I don't see DIs in London. I increasingly see some people setting and throwing with rhythm, but nobody I would consider a genuine DI, just some regulars I may be more likely to bet on than others. If charting gives people entry and exit points to the game, then I see anything wrong with that,...

Of course the counter to this is simply if 99% of the shooters are randies, why are you wasting time charting?

Re: How Do YOU Maximize YOUR Return on Dealer Tokes?
Almost live war story: 6:30 am this morning I am prowling the strip and it's the quietest I have ever seen it, both inside and out. All craps tables I go to are empty or just one player - many of you would drool but I like at least a couple of others on the table. So I ease in with breakfast cocktai...

Yes, bound to be a good few people pissed off at the rug being pulled from under them when they thought certain benefits would apply for the level they reached.

Re: Place Betting the Six and EIGHT
It's all about comfort level. You'll find out soon enough if $84 at risk initially is too much for you to stomach as there will be plenty of live experience where you will get knocked off 3 or 4 times without collecting. If you feel the $84 is too much then scale back and build it up the starting po...

Re: The Hidden Vig
I guess there are two ways of looking further at this hidden vig: 1. The overall cost of the casino trip may be a lot more - petrol (gas) cost to get there and back, extra food and drinks along the way. Waitress/dealer tips during play. 2. Alternatively, would the husband and wife be doing something...

Re: Do any of you hedge the ATS bet if you are the shooter?
Yes, would often lay a box number on the ATS depending on how much I had on and how bad/good a session I was having.
Have never been in the position to lay a fire bet. You can go all week and not see that sucker get close

Re: Where's the Dark Side Love ??
Good story SIA about putting max odds on the DP or DC on the 4 or 10. Big difference at that level in a 100x odds house than doing the lay.

Re: What's the Point in Lay Betting?
Yes, assuming you were laying the 9 right from the off on the come out. A few comments: 1. Small data sample 2. Does your throw (and transposed set) hold up like this in real casino conditions? 3. All results are on your own throw. You are never getting this long with the dice in perhaps a week of s...

Re: Baccarat “UR Way Egalite” (UWE) or "High Tie" Bet
If you find a winning system, come and spend some time in the UK. As you already stated, you are getting short paid on the individual tie bets over there. Ours would be as per your original table. You're trying to overcome double figure house edges. Going to take a lot of skill or a hell of an amoun...

Re: Baccarat “UR Way Egalite” (UWE) or "High Tie" Bet
If you bet $20 on the cover all tie bet, as detailed above, what does it pay? I strongly suspect, without looking at this in detail, that the house edge you are trying to overcome is just to high to make it worthwhile. Or put it another way, countability such as this (if it is even possible) would b...

I wonder if the maths has ever been done for ATS and repeater bets via a reduced payoff but no re-set on a CO 7.....as we see with the Firebet?

Re: What are the odds?
JP I think it is good tactics if you can to bet the promo chips on higher odds bets, even in the vig on these is usually high. I have done it in the past with the ATS at Treasure Bay and in London am lucky enough I can bet my promo chips on any bet in the house. Currently I have settled on using the...

Re: Black Jack Tournament
Definitely consider splits and doulbe downs you wouldn't normally do as you are not there to grind, but like H says, try and outgun everybody early with some big bets and some silly bets which you would no do in a normal game e.g split 10s against a weak dealer card.
