Lowest risk $100 a hand
What kind of betting strategy would you use to be rated at $100 a hand to receive lots of comps and goodies when you are not a $100 a hand player?
In the old days one member would put $100 on the PL and another member would put $100 on the DP with a shared bankroll. Those midnights sucked.
$700 of comps for 4 hours of play at a $100 a hand at a place that I have not played at in years.

A couple playing partners on a $100 doey-don't - maybe with a $3 midnight kicker on the don't player's part might work. But I'd want to take or lay odds depending on the point. Probably Lay odds on the Four and Ten and consider taking odds on the Six and Eight, depending on the shooter. Just go naked on the Five and nine. Let the couple play on opposite sides of the couple so perhaps the floor doesn't put two and two together and nullify their rating, which could happen.

Re: Lowest risk $100 a hand
In today's environment, an average bet of $100 is not going to get you lots of comps. Between higher table limits and watered down players programs, $100 just ain't what it used to be.

Between higher table limits and watered ... sed to be.
Spot on. Especially considering how casinos view table games as an unnecessary evil these days. Back when table games ruled the casino and a .25 cent machine was along the lines of what a $5 machine is today, $160 across would get you full room board and beverage - and I'm talking about suites, steak house dining and bottled win with your meal, not a glass of some cheap California wine poured by the glass for the price of what you'd pay for a bottle of it at the grocery store. Not a$160average bet might get you a buffet or breakfast for two in the coffee shop if there was still one open.

Re: Lowest risk $100 a hand
The table average bet amount and comp doesn't matter much to me because....
My wife and I play a partner type of system for comps. We work from one bank roll and always buy-in with the same amount each. She plays slots and I play craps. She plays to run her buy-in thru the machines and I play to off set any slots losses. At the end of the day we put the buy-ins back together. With any craps wins supporting the slots play we are going all in for the comp on the (Her) slots card. This way we don't need any real comp from the (My) craps card.
We began going too and playing casinos in 2019. Our starting bank roll was $5 hundred dollars. This year alone we have gone on 9 cruises and multiple resorts with more booked all on comp. I have always tracked our play and keep a record of all our sessions (good money management). As of today the bank-roll is around $30K.
That's how I (we) get around the poor comps at the table.

Re: Lowest risk $100 a hand
That's very impressive! Well done. I have started to add slot play on my trips for the tier credits and comps this year. It seems to be working I can get a comped room now any day not just Sunday- Monday and I can't remember when I last paid for food or beverage. I started a couple trips ago just taking $500 to cycle through the slots on a 2-3 day trip. Last trip I bumped that to $500-$700 a day betting in $5 range per spin ( ended up on the slots up $1,500-2k for the trip). I will be interested to see what the offers for December are like.
Midgetcoach did that 30k bankroll come from your wins at the dice tables? If so I would like to here how you do it.
Cheers

Re: Lowest risk $100 a hand
Thank you ! One of the main parts of our system is good money management. Also we never use or touch any of our bank roll or buy-in funds for anything else. Its for play only! That's very impressive! Well done.
Yes we are in the same position. Our comps seem to always be getting better. It seems to be working I can get a comped room now any day not just Sunday- Monday and I can't remember when I last paid for food or beverage.
We take $1000 ($500 each buy-in) for every session we are planing on playing.I started a couple trips ago just taking $500 to cycle through the slots on a 2-3 day trip. Last trip I bumped that to $500-$700 a day betting in $5 range per spin ( ended up on the slots up $1,500-2k for the trip)
Well...... I wish it did but the truth is my wife's slot play got us started. Banking all our combined wins into the bank roll and again never using it for anything else has gotten us here. Again the key to this part of our system is good money management.Midgetcoach did that 30k bankroll come from your wins at the dice tables?
Well we have different parts to our system of casino play. To much to write here but I will say this. We play for the comps not the money. At the end of a session any winnings at all are good. We never chase after the big win but when we get one it sure is nice...LOL .If so I would like to here how you do it.

Good job/smart IMO. Good record keeping is key and our gambling should be managed similar to a small business or stocks.
Most players would be surprised how much money they gamble through on the same buyin. Daily players can easily run million(s) through in a year.
All the best ,

Dont focus on comps;develop a good betting strategy and beat the casinos;that will allow you to play at the average bet $200 level.
At this level you will get your room and food covered
It is not easy to go from the $100 to the $200 level. It will take a couple of years and some decent winning sessions.Keep your craps winnings separate from slots;for the life of me I dont know how one can survive slots in the long term;hence the higher comps.
You want to learn how to bet go follow Tgold for a year.
Nice post;good luck

Re: Lowest risk $100 a hand
Heavy has solid betting strategies
By tracking sessions you can test your strategies and see how they work.
Eventually what you will find is each person has a style of play that fits their personality.
Once you feel comfortable with a set of strategies during a trip you should play the same on day 3 as you would on day 1.Too often I see people get beaten up on day 1 and 2 and when a run comes on day 3 they are too afraid to push it.
There are two key elements to a solid strategy ;should be able to have a great defense when things are not going your way and have a great offense to take the juice out of a roll.

Re: Lowest risk $100 a hand
Playing slots and craps and combining them is part of our strategy. Craps produces cash back into the bankroll. Slots produces all the comp. Taking advantage of each others strong points. Together it works for my wife and I.
