Re: 5 count Dont system
Seems the term "five-count" was mentioned going back perhaps 20 years ago
(perhaps longer)
As I recall............
..The discussions ranged from 5 count ENTHUISACSTS, Disparagers, and neutral commentary.
===>most often the focus was applicable to Right ( bright ) Side players.
WRONG SIDE ( DARK SIDE) PLAYERS { the DO NOT CROWD } often say that on average Dice Flingers (TOSSERS)
pitch 8 to 12 dice pitches prior to the number SEVEN (7) making an appearance...
The WRONG ( DARK) Siders may consider making
serial DO NOT COME wagers around TOSS # 5 or TOSS # 6...or # 7
...anticipating THE SEVEN (DEVIL) jumping out at a subsequent ROLL of THE CUBES.
====> Rumor has it that a number of Dice ENTHUSIASTS... ACTUALLY CLOCK aka CHART
all the DICE TOSS EVENTS of other DICE SHOOTERS
AND
make WAGERS BASED ON THAT Information...
A search of A P C posts may chronicle those events
Just Me Saying

PS: Dark Side Players & players wagering on Field Numbers are often EXCORIATED
........by Right Side Players unfamiliar with REAL WORLD CASINO WAGERING...

Re: 5 count Dont system
Actually, John Patrick talked about this play long before Scoblete came up with the Five Count as a right side play. Regardless of which way you look at it, it's a due-number strategy and as such, it has its flaws. Nevertheless, it makes much more sense from a dark side perspective than from a right side perspective. The average game at craps is about 3.5 rolls. The average hand at craps is about 8.5 rolls. A game can be decided by making the point or by sevening out. A hand is decided when the shooter sevens out and the dice pass to the next shooter. So if you utilize the five count from a dark side perspective using those numbers - then theoretically when you either make your DP or DC bet OR Lay the point or Lay some other number - you're theoretically only 3.5 rolls away from the seven. However, the same math guys who came up with that concept will also tell you craps is a game of independent trials and on every toss of the dice there's a one-in-six chance of rolling a seven, so the hand could continue on indefinitely. Nevertheless, I would rather play the Don'ts in combo with the five count than the right side.

Heavy, I know there is no real way to know but for someone wanting to edge into the dark side game. Would you recommend DPs or waiting a few tosses and Make a DC. I know there are a ton of variables and the answer might need to change every session but if you were going to give the nod one way or the other which way would you suggest.
