Hmmm. I like M&M's filled with Pretzels. This Skittles Darkside sounds like it's loaded with stuff that's good for you. Or maybe it just TASTES like stuff that's good for you. Yeah, that's probably it.

A fella has a shot of pulling it off ,if he can sprint ,target and shoulder into a yearling..then there is the mad ma-ma 1,200 - 1500 Lbs factor to out run......Pacecar wrote:Cowtipping....

Now tragically striking a full sized adult bovine with a motor vehicle at high speed middle of some no place zip code country road============================
could have an end result very much similar to hitting a critter like a deer.... as they have been known to "flip" and slide >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
along the hood and through the windshield ....very much unsettling the driver and passengers
of said motor vehicle..........At one time I had photos of a Chevy Aveo after a run in with a moose and a B M W that was molested by a White Tail deer after meeting by accident....
When I observe a shooter tossing a series of C/O 7's ,2's,3's,12' I have a tendency to hold off
one or two rolls after the shooter has established a BOX NUMBER as P/L POINT then make
a LAY against both the Pass Line # and a D/C wager for about 1/2 the $ VALUE of the P/L LAY WAGER
Most of the series both of my DARK SIDE WAGERS win,,,,and yes there are times when both
wagers meet with THE NUMBER by accident.........

Re: Looking to Cowtip...
Hey DF, I Cowtipped yesterday, successfully and actually took it to 3 steps. I didn't yell though. You could get arrested in Joliet for that.

It's probably not a good idea to use in blackjack considering you only win 42% of hands (meaning it's even harder to win 2 in a row,) not to mention splits and doubles.

I thought Cowtippin had to do with craps !IndieFilmGuy wrote:You know, Cowtippin' method can be used for any casino house game with a low house edge such as: blackjack, 1 to 1 bets on Roulette, Pai Gow, and so on.
Given DylanFreake extended testing of this method with Craps, I am interested to test this with other games and see what the results are.

i though it was 48% (excluding ties)? at least that is what i read somewhere at somepoint.wudged wrote:It's probably not a good idea to use in blackjack considering you only win 42% of hands (meaning it's even harder to win 2 in a row,) not to mention splits and doubles.
should have more than the 175 cowtip bankroll so you can play the double/splits as the opportunity appears.
Re: Looking to Cowtip...
According to the wizard it's 42.42% http://wizardofodds.com/games/blackjack/appendix/4/
I sure wouldn't want to be splitting and/or doubling a parlayed $25 bet, only to lose everything and then have to figure out the next step on the fly, then potentially ending up having a split/double situation all over again at an inflated level.
Blackjack disguises itself as a simple game, but is way more complicated than most people realize. There's even a thread on this board about how blackjack is the game that craps players love to hate.
Edit: Actually, at http://wizardofodds.com/ask-the-wizard/ ... obability/ he states if you remove ties then the chance of winning is 46.36%. Still a far cry from "even" chance and still does not consider splits/doubles.

Re: Looking to Cowtip...
Tried this method on the Roulette wheel last night at Harah's Cherokee. Betting Red / Black. It was going fine until the zero hit. It all went crazy and you have to start from level 1. Unless you count the zero / double zero as the color you are betting against. So if you are betting Red then the Zero / double zero is black. At that point the percentage numbers shift dramatically and it's not worth the gamble.

Re: Looking to Cowtip...
So if Golfer didn't yell, was it a legal cow tip
Re: Looking to Cowtip...
Dylanfreake, I know you say you limit yourself to one loss per shooter, but was curious about something I saw earlier. A shooter's roll went: 2, 7, 3, 7, 6, 7out. Would you have broken even after the first 7 and waited for the next shooter? Or would you have ended up riding the whole hand since the net of his rolls never went negative?
