Harrah's Cherokee, finally making it worth your while.

Setting and influencing the dice roll is just part of the picture. To beat the dice you have to know how to bet the dice. Whether you call it a "system," a "strategy," or just a way to play - this is the place to discuss it.

Wow maybe I should check my mail today. Last thing I got from them was 20.00 dollars in free slot play.
The are very tight. I get offers from Harah's and others in Vegas and I haven't been there in a long time. I go to Cherokee ( well used to) at least every other weekend.

I will be at the Crapsfest this weekend learning from the best in the business so hopefully with their guidance and lots and lots and lots of practice I can re-gain my confidence to play on those bouncy tables. But I guarantee you they will not see me before that. My last visit to them 2 months ago humbled me more than it did you. It was so bad at the end of my toss the pit boss gave me a tip as I was leaving for gas money instead of the other way around.

TableTop, Your email had me excited to get to the mailbox yesterday but alas...sigh...nothing from Cherokee. Did this come in the little 8 page personalized mailer with various coupons inside or was this an envelope? Was any redemption date(s) attached? I usually get a monthly booklet but not an envelope. The booklet gives me time dated offers, like $10 of free cash if presented between Nov 1 and Nov 15. I'm wondering if you got a unique offer because of your high level play or if I might also expect something for my lower level of play. I think my mailer usually comes mid month so it's probably still early for my December booklet offers to arrive.

Yea I got mine yesterday for 150.00 each.
I guess I can drive up there eat for free and cash in on one of the coupons. After gas money I am 100.00 ahead. That is if I can stay away from the trampolines

Good deal. I'll keep an eye out but I suspect you guys are betting well above my level and I'm unlikely to get offers in this range.

It's my understanding that Cherokee rates primarily on average bet. Last I was told my average bet is $18. One thing I'm sure hurts us is that we tend to spend a long time at the table when we are there and often are betting little or nothing. Regardless of our buy-in amount our average bet looks low. If they happen to rate us when we are shooting our bet looks better I suppose. If the dice are on the other side it looks like we are just watchers. Certainly we would get better ratings if we had shorter more aggressive sessions. That may evolve if we keep getting results like this past weekend. We tripled our bankroll in 2.5 hours at Hollywood Columbus and tripled it again in 1 hour at Mardi Gras WV. A common component in those wins is we had limited time to play. We were there on business and the casino was a side trip. When we go to Cherokee we go to play. There's little else to do there. So we tend to take our time trying to feel out the right moments or we just get on a table having fun and want to keep shooting, so we spend a lot of time low betting while waiting for the dice. We enjoy the comps but our style is dictated by other factors and the comps just fall where they do. Hopefully we'll get SOMETHING out of this latest promotion.

Well it's been three days since you saw your "worth while comp" and still nothing here. I guess I'm not at a high enough level of play. In fact, the trigger for you may have been that you REDUCED your level and frequency and they want you back.
