What's your betting strategy?

Re: What's your betting strategy?
I just noticed that soxfan had mentioned the Star system and the Sure Win system above. I've posted limited details of the Star system before. Not sure if I have Sure Win anywhere around or not. For any of you who want to post bout copyrighted systems - remember that a betting strategy cannot be copyrighted - however the exact words the author uses to describe the system are copyrighted. No cutting and pasting. If you want to say something like "the system is a five level Fibonacci progression with two recovery mode re-sets" then that's fine. An example laying out specific bets - as long as its not the exact example quoted in the copyrighted system - is okay as well. Just don't take anything directly from a strategy and post it word-for-word on the site. Thanks.

Re: What's your betting strategy?
I follow a pretty strict regime of craps play.
First, much of my play is derived from one author who I won't shill out of respect to the house...that being said pretty straight up to understand "Pressing my bets" is what I am all about. Regardless of what I play!
Pass Line with odds 10-15-25-35-50-75-125-174-250-350-500-750 etc.
Place Bet 6/8 and press 12-18-30-42-60-90-120-180-300-420-600-900 etc.
Wait until a qualified shooter meaning they make one point or make a Natural.
Bet hard - Press hard.

Sam Grafstein did die quite a ways back. Obviously H has decided to let someone post under his name.
I'm not sure how wise that is, but it's H's site.

Hi LuxLogs,
Over on the Dice Institute message-board, we have an “All Things Dice Doctor” repository of Grafstein-related stories (none of which appear in his book) called:

Re: What's your betting strategy?
first, yes I am NOT Sam Grafstein - and yes I am using his handle and heavy did address it with me - I will make a change to sam_grafstein Disciple if needed since I am a huge fan of his book and use his play extensively. He has several plays of course and the one I choose to use is the passline 2x odd system plus a 6/8 place betting system.
I have authored a blog on the betting strategy at www.dicedoctor.wordpress.com (again a tribute where I hawk his book and nothing else extensively) and am now going through each of his plays 10x to illustrate or perhaps NOT illustrate that waiting for a qualified shooter works or doesn't work... I wish someone would be able to show me the math on this subject.
Secondly that using a system where you have bankroll for 10 qualified shooters is the way to go - regardless of what style of play you use - being under capitalized is a killer.
Finally, to lead people to the conclusion that you have to have a PLAN when you enter the casino and as Sam says - all systems work at some point.
I do want to make sure no one in misled regarding my "handle" and mean no disrespect ... gladly will change it.
I did just return from a junket in Niagara Casino and had a great winning session ... with video uploaded as well.
From being a sceptic at dice influence to seeing TWO shooters roll with a 4-2 Hardways Set and do extremely well - heavy might be getting a student.
Thanks for welcoming me to the forum fella's - I look forward to contributing and have lots of hot air to let out....

If your ever in Chicagoland PM me for willing and able student. Dinner or Lunch is also on me.

Is there a way to view the above without joining yuku? I just spent 15 min trying to register with Yuku only to tell them to Fuku if you know what I mean.
Thanks

Looking forward to it.
Re: What's your betting strategy?
Unfortunately, I will be over in Shreveport/Bossier on Thursday night, harvesting a few red and green chips to cover a few Christmas baubles I plan to purchase. Yeah, I could have said black and purple chips, but that would have spoiled the whole holiday alliteration.
