Power pressing

Setting and influencing the dice roll is just part of the picture. To beat the dice you have to know how to bet the dice. Whether you call it a "system," a "strategy," or just a way to play - this is the place to discuss it.

Power pressing

Post by tonybugs » Sat Feb 15, 2014 4:27 pm

Just wondering if anyone power presses and if they do what are they? I've seen Snakeeyes play a $15 ten and four, first hit drop $10 more and go to $50 which fills the rack pretty quickly when you get a run!

I' thinking of doing a $18 six or eight, first hit drop $3 more to $42, second hit collect a dollar and go to $90. Then collect blackbirds every hit after. Invest $20 to collect $105 after second hit, gives me 5-1 ratio! Which gives five different shooters to make 3 sixes or eights to break even.

Hi TB,

Not sure if this qualifies, but I like to place the five and nine for $10 each. First hit, drop a dollar ($1) and go to a quarter ($25). Second hit I regress back to $10. Third hit I drop another dollar ($1) and go back up to a quarter ($25). Fourth hit I press to fifty ($50). Fifth hit, I collect. Sixth hit, I press to one hundred ($100). After that, I continue to press, collect, press, collect...etc. (I only press the numbers hitting, if shooter isn't throwing nines it will stay at $10 and vice versa).

I also sometimes start with twelve dollars ($12) on the six and eight, when one hits I press up to twenty-four dollars ($24). Next hit, I press to only thirty dollars ($30), Next hit, I drop two bucks ($2) and ask them to go to forty-two ($42). Next hit I go to sixty dollars ($60). I collect on the next hit. After this, I start to press, collect, press...(Again, I only press the numbers hitting, if shooter isn't throwing eights it will stay at $12 and vice versa).

It probably doesn't qualify as a power press because it is somewhat a conservative play. I'm sure I'll change to a regression then power press strategy once my tossing skills improve. I'm a fairly conservative bettor on myself and try to avoid the randies as much as possible. My tossing skill just isn't yet where I want it to be, too much inconsistency in live sessions.

BD, I do the same with the 5 and 9, starting with $10 after first hit drop a $1 and go to $25, but second hit goes to $35, and then $50, $75, $100. No regression during play.

Snake, I was out for this weekend with prior commitments anyway, but will make a solo mission during the week. Lol

On the six and eight move - $18 each - first hit drop $3 and press the number that hit to $42. Second hit COLLECT $50 for $1. That locks up a $28 profit. Then on the NEXT hit press to $90 and get a buck change. NOW you cal collect all the black chips you want.
