Hi,
So I have always used my chips and the rail to help with the 5-count. Usually just keeping my whites on the right side of the rail, adding one to each point number rolled. Yesterday, I was at my usually spot, SL-1 and had my whites in the mini cut off part of the rail near the dealer. Then I noticed it could hold 6 chips, face down...the same amount of point numbers. I then started placing the chips in the correct positions to whatever was being rolled. 4,5,6 on the top row, and 8,9,10 on the bottom. I kept this up, well past my 5-count and was now able to see which numbers the shooter was repeating. Something so simple, yet so useful. Best shooters had 28 points and 32 points. No one got past 3 firebet points but multiple point numbers were rolled. My photo is a little confusing but I cant explain how much this helped out last night!

That is what I use to do. But I just used top rack, kept my chips in the bottom. Used a 7th spot for horn numbers. Once I collected 5 whites, I just colored up that number spot to a red chip.
