playing the dos and donts

Setting and influencing the dice roll is just part of the picture. To beat the dice you have to know how to bet the dice. Whether you call it a "system," a "strategy," or just a way to play - this is the place to discuss it.

playing the dos and donts

Post by advdel77 » Sun Nov 02, 2014 11:06 am

do most players evaluate a table to determine how they are going to play? i am curious if the players on this forum are willing to play both ways or just play with their system and hope for the best. what i struggle with is laying odds on numbers other than 4 & 10. i know Daves system he does not lay odds on 4 & 10 and seems to be succesful. has anyone experimented with daves system or any other system you have been successfull with. after reading some of the comments on this forum i haved learned to watch random shooters and limit how much to wager on them. i would like to read your comments on this, thanks, Mike

It mainly depends on your bankroll as the more you bet the greater your variance becomes. If the table conditions warrant it, I'll make place bets on the 6 and 8 along with a don't come bet. If a 6 or 8 rolls take down the place bet lay odds on the don't and rack the rest.

With Dave's system you can git in and out with a nice profit quickly, or................you can run in to a brick wall. Last time I saw Dave it was early evening and he told me he was stuck and had been there all day. He has the bankroll to withstand the swings. And the determination. I play right and wrong almost every session. Sometimes you zig right and sometimes you zag wrong. Trying to make your system "fit" what is happening is a ticket to disaster. Be flexible. Watch.

Heavy has a great saying, "If it ain't no fun.....it's time to run". Words to remember.

I'll try to compact this into the short version....
.
If you are counting the number of rolls/tosses shooter to shooter at 5 or less........
PLACE WAGER $22 or $44 inside or $32 / $64 ACROSS and make serial $5 or $10 D/C WAGERS perhaps TWO or THREE of Them and REMOVE ( Take Down) the BOX numbers as they are hit...
After TWO or THREE , TAKE DOWN ( REMOVE) any not hit PLACE BET WAGER
...
MAKE NO OTHER WAGER...Your D/C Wagers will either Pay on THE SEVEN OUT
or
GET PICKED OFF AS THE HAND ROLLS ON.....
.
There are several ways to exploit this...It will stand on your loss tolerance / Comfort Zone

War game it NOT IN A CASINO AT LIVE PLAY first ...Then TWEAK IT...THEN OWN IT :!: .....

This may work on cold tables and in some Chop situations...

Just me sharing

W C.
