Casinos with low/zero vig on place bets

Setting and influencing the dice roll is just part of the picture. To beat the dice you have to know how to bet the dice. Whether you call it a "system," a "strategy," or just a way to play - this is the place to discuss it.

Casinos with low/zero vig on place bets

Post by kumar » Tue Mar 03, 2015 6:21 am

I would like the readers to share with me the names of casinos or states that have low vigs on place bets.

One of the reasons I play in Mississippi is because the vigs are low.

One can buy the 4/ 5/9/10 for $30 ,there is no vig upfront and its $1 when the number hits. The same is true at the crapless table for the 2,3,11,12. A $10 bet on the 2/12 pays $59 on a hit.

Thankyou.

Most of the Albuquerque casinos offer free buy and free lay bets on the four and ten. Some pay triple on both the two and the twelve. I have not made the rounds at the ABQ casinos in a couple of years, but will be out there in about three weeks on business and will take a look at a couple of properties just to get an idea of what's happening now.

HMMMMMMMMMM. I haven't been there in a while. Noodle time. But, Heavy is right.
The best craps games in the U.S. of A. is ABQ. In addition, their props pay more. MP posted a pic of
of of SAS tables some time ago, maybe he will repost it to give you a heads up.

Are there any Downtown Vegas casinos that don't charge a lay bet vig upfront and only charge the vig on a win? If so, I need to utilize such a strategy when I start to see a trend of PSO.

The Gold Coast in Vegas will let you buy the 4 and 10 for $10.00, pay $1.00 vig every other time it hits.

The last time I was at Santa Ana they no longer paid triple on both the 2&12 (only triple on one of them), and had also backed off of the extra prop bet payouts but I don't play those so I can't say what exactly changed.

Free 4&10 is still the rule at Santa Ana and several other area casinos, though. What is great about this is that it helps the low roller and high roller the same, you don't have to bet $20-25 to take advantage.

Getting a free bet on the outside bets of a crapless table sounds pretty amazing, though. Last time I was in Biloxi, they didn't even wait to charge the vig on the outside numbers.
