A seven page article with only two pages of content which, if read, really tells you nothing more than the fact that there are 8 ways to win on the Come Out versus 4 ways to lose, but once the point is established the odds shift in the casinos favor and (mathematically) you cannot beat the game. At least that's what I got out of it. Did I miss something?

DON'T PASS LINE. Not even one word on the don't pass line.

Kingofdice, and Heavy, did she make a mistake by not analysing the don't pass line ? because that's part of the game of craps.

Well indeed she may not have done an in-depth study of the don't pass line - which IS a part of the game of craps - as jaime1943 pointed out....

But in my view - an even GREATER omission - she did not mention even one word about the importance of taking the status of your "fish watch" into consideration prior to play - which IS ALSO part of the game of craps:-)

The difference that taking odds would make is how long it took the house advantage to overcome the variance of the game. If you're playing a $5 line bet with $100 odds, your chance of being ahead after 1,000 decisions is greater than if you're just making a line bet. You're still more likely to be behind, but there would be more players in the sample group who think they've figured out a system.

This study also failed to take in the consideration the effect of all those biased dice that are out there. LOL.
